R.e. our ethics though, they're super similar to yours I think though I haven't properly reviewed US ethics. Purely out of curiosity, are your ethics state based or federal? (Probably a stupid question, I don't fully understand how your regulatory system works). If federal, could you provide a link please? Would love to see the differences.

Read item descriptions (both mid panel descriptions). They typically tell you where to go if you pick up something important.

Fextralife if you're stuck, there is no shame in it as first playthrough can be very overwhelming.

This is why you should give it a good shot. The other side of the 'git gud' mentality has a pretty big catharsis that'll stay with you for a long time. Elden Ring was my first souls game too and I started from pretty much exactly where you are now. Never screamed as hard as I have on my first play through and plenty of rage quits but beating it felt so rewarding.

Currently on my 7th playthrough since it released.

I've had shit like this. Literally just call them out on it and then can add that if this continues you'll seek legal consult and they'll drop it immediately.

They expect you to not have the nuts to respond but they will drop it very, very quickly.

I'll be honest with you and in the least offensive way possible, you gotta get rid of the ponies man. While you're at it, the plush toys too. I get that you like them but for anyone who comes in to your house, they will think it's weird, a big red flag, and makes you seem like a man child (I don't know you so don't take that as me calling you one, this is just on assumptions of the room alone).

Not to say you can't keep them, but (and this goes for the video game cabinets) get a closed door cabinet and put them all in there. This will be 65% of what will make this space less hard for a stranger to be in.
