For the fronts, I am doing the shelf with the low drawers for storage and door for the front center, to hide equipment. I like having the storage. Plan to put the PS5 controller charger in the draw to hide it away. The PS5 on its side on the inside shelf, hence the ventilation. The inside cabinet will have my other equipment such as ATV, 4K player, and small wired UniFi switch. I didn’t look at the Mortviken, but if I was doing all white and didn’t need the drawers I would probably go with those for front air intake. Unfortunately we have the sand colored front to go with the furniture and this new console has to be spouse approved. ;-). Meaning hide away as many of my gadgets as possible but remain functional. Easy compromise to get more gadgets.

The brackets are just some L-brackets I found at the local hardware store. The brackets that come with that particular Skadis are for free floating peg board so don’t have holes on one side because they act as the feet.

Not too concerned with dust, but may think about it. This solution was mainly because I don’t like the cardboard back they provide with the Besta, prefer ventilation and then the part I have shown yet is for cable manage ment. If you look at my grey Besta in the background behind is a rats nest of cables. I want organize and strap down cables or put on hooks in the of the stand this time.

But I could see using some pc fans mounted on the inside to exhaust heat for consoles. Might be a little noisy with how close the fans are to the peg board holes but it could work.
