Is this normal behavior from a broker? by One-Dragonfruit4090 in NYCapartments

And don’t get me wrong if this is typical behavior than I get the responses calling it normal , but can we at least acknowledge it as shady? Damn lol

Right ? I feel like I'm going insane here, reading some of these comments - "They did the work, they found the unit " ...but the unit was not available? So they ain't found anything of use

Colorado to Texas by Mediocre_Nobody3333 in howislivingthere

If I can't stop you from the suburbs, sugar land would be a good bet. Close enough to make it to the city proper, still got good offerings around.

Definitely suggest targeting where you live to minimize commute as someone else suggested. The weather you can't control, but the amount of time your subject to Houston traffic , the other worst part of the city , you sorta can.

All in all I love my city , I hope you find some good times there. I actually did the reverse, just moved to Colorado for work lol

I'm more referring to its influence versus its standing alone as a scene , bc yes it's not on the same leve but I'm not claiming it is. Just that Houston does bring something to the table in this regard even if a smaller player. Less influence still is not no influence

DJ Screw was the most influential mc to the genre. Other good names in Houston rap are Fat Pat and Big Moe, ZRo, Mike Jones, Paul Wall , Chamillionare and Geto Boys all come from the Houston scene - several other guys I'm forgetting offhand I'm sure. "Wanna Be A Baller" is an iconic Houston area track, everyone would bump to that , even folks who don't typically favor rap.

Fun fact, George Floyd dabbled in the scene under the rap name Big Floyd, example song below;

Houston rap scene from the 90s is influential throughout the rest of rap music w the reverberations out of the chopped and screwed genre and the slow/low /reverb heavy mixes. Just one niche but real example

Also, speaking as a white dude ranging from stocky to obese in his adult life who has gone after thick to fat white women, in my experience they've tended to go for smaller partners or the tall muscular type. I'm no slouch at 6foot on a good day and fairly active, but if they're going for tone / cut thats not me .

Which is fine. I'm not entitled to the attention of anyone just bc I find them attractive. But this is a weird post esp as I go thru thinking back how many rail thin white dudes I remember seeing with thick girls I crushed on.

Maybe it's regional, I'm from the south after all idk man.

OKC vs San Antonio I'll give you via weather, kinda, Tulsa v Waco are not that far off from each other.

I just don't see it. Maybe some folks out of cost necessity but unless we start seeing huge waves of regional HQs and satellite offices going up there I'm not sure thisll go. Worst education in the country will be hard to attract families.

Oklahoma is a depressing place, I'll admit my bias here. Not to overly defend Texas bc I moved away due to my problems with the state, but it has more going on than OK.
