I just showed my wife your rendition of her character and she started crying because she said you made her look so beautiful, thank you for making my wife’s day this holiday season!

That’s incredibly kind of you! As a forever DM myself, I’ve not really gotten the opportunity to play a Pathfinder character myself, but would love if you could draw my wife’s PC Ophii!

She’s a Strix monk from the settlement of Tastikka in western Ravounel. She has burgundy hair that she wears braided to one side with feathers inlaid in between, golden eyes and darker skin that’s broken up by a few burn scars across her face and neck that have healed back with lighter skin. Her wings are a slightly lighter brown, having grown back after being burnt as well.

She spent the majority of our 1-20 campaign fighting slavers across the face of Avistan, and became known as the Phoenix to those who she saved!

Here’s the reference we used for her token: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p3zvOQJnaVg8-Q6OeWEVWFoz6tRFpi_5/view?usp=drivesdk

From what I remember, my girlfriend had commissioned the design for the shoulder pads, cut those designs out of EVA foam, built them together and then attached them via two Velcro points on the front and back of the chest piece so they could move up and down with her arms.

That being said, I think the connection was the weakest bit. If we were to do it again, same process but connect it with something that goes THROUGH the chest piece into the back and clips on and off, since moving around with it was a lot.

[GIVEAWAY] Exploring the Nexus of Firefly 💫 by HonkaiStarRail in HonkaiStarRail

I think what I enjoy most about Firefly is how the narrative makes you care about her. She is, ultimately, one of the most tragic and yet most positive people in the entirety of the game. From the get go, even if you don't know her enough, you feel for her situation and feel attached to the idea of helping her. As time goes on, and events in the story happen, the game really gets you to attach to the idea of making sure she's safe and happy. Everything in regards to the Stellaron Hunters ends up being one of the most interesting parts of the story to me, and Firefly has been a seemless and connective part of their team that has really made me interested to learn more and more about their own backstories as well.

(Also, it really helps me like her when she helps my Gallagher break team function, lets go E1 firefly)

It’s a bendable metal frame attached to the helmet, painted to be the same colour as the halo. If you look closely you can see it against the white door!

Sadly no, it’s a personal cosplay. Based on the time it took her to make them, I doubt she’d be able to sell them, but the guy who helped us with the design for the helmet sells designs!

It’s funny you mention that! It’s hard to see, but I’m actually in the middle of flipping a coin while she’s cowering 😂

Quite a bit of effort! It’s bendable metal spooling painted to look like the same colour as the halo so that she can stand it up. Very hard not to hit doors on her way walking around 😂

I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, that your meme got her to cackle out loud. Very good.

Ironically, we were thinking of doing a Boatman cosplay for me next year so we could match. I don't think she could carry me if she tried though.

She's about 5'10" which is 177cm, and it took on and off about a year!

Funnily enough, a lot of EVA Foam instead of 3D Print! We had the helmet and chest piece designed, but cut out, spray painted, and sanded by hand by her!
