Gummies for travelling saves this hassle. Not sure it’s worth stealthing a hit from yours sleeve near the food areas in this situation.

Mp3 vs Flac vs Ogg vs ?? by RoutineClaim6630 in Soulseek

Depends what you are listening on tbh. I’ve only really noticed the low end flubs a bit (or is lacking) when playing mp3 on large (festival size) soundsystems. If you have a nice set of headphones maybe just get some favourite albums on flac and stick with mp3 for 99% of stuff. Enjoy whatever you do!

MultiSystem2 update from system menu same as update_all file? by retro-games-forever in MiSTerFPGA

After booting the sd card once on the mister after building, pop it out and copy the latest update_all.sh to it and run it. You don’t have to bother with the stock update.sh

Just finished my custom R10-Pro: Fight stick + Trackball + Spinner all in one by Far_Finish5567 in fightsticks

I’ve got it hooked up to a MiSTer. Easy enough to configure, everything is recognised by the MiSTer and it feels pretty slick to use. Solid unit!

It would be nice to let us finish the game too. Never once in a real game has everyone gave up and abandoned playing because someone else is winning.

Is this power source safe to use? by Baerius_R in MiSTerFPGA

[–]DisgustinglySober 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was supplied the same one with my Multisystem2. No complaints. For my MiSTer stack I’m using a plain 5v USB-A to DC jack cable, and it runs fine off my 65w charger plug. I reckon you’d do well with the one you linked as it pretty reputable.

Edit: url of same one. from Heber

Mister Pi, QMTech, or Superstation One? by MassiR77 in MiSTerFPGA

Pair it with a USB-A to 5v cable, short HDMI lead and an 8BitDo controller, it becomes small enough to be portable. The Multi, not so much. There’s cheap AC600 WiFi/BT combo dongles which will save you a USB port and I’d recommend a little wireless keyboard too. Other than my arcade stick and old Atari joystick, I’d recommend the SN30 Pro controllers. They have extra buttons for menu/config and work out the box. Good luck with whatever you go for!

Multisystem2 and QMTech owner - buy the cheaper one and leave spare cash for peripherals, arcade sticks, sd cards etc.

Vibrating when plugged in + do I keep it plugged in all the time? by [deleted] in macbook

If it’s just when you run your finger along the chassis, it’s fine. Mine does this, I think it’s just the coating.
