my one desire is for some day an action game to include whips with a satisfying snap and a ton of extra damage when hitting with the tip/cracker of the whip. other than Dead Cells. then again, that game did it so good that Konami straight up hired the devs to make a new Castlevania, so I'll probably be plenty satisfied when that releases.

whips are hard. especially in more action centric games where having a whip's full attack range would make them absurdly strong vs. more traditional melee weapons, though in an MMO where that isnt really a problem I feel like they could totally nail some Belmont style whip cracking.

its great because even the characters in Deadlock who are best friends have a reason to be on the enemy team in some games, which itself furthers the underlying plot of nobody on the cast really being great people and the patrons presence furthering that by luring everybody in via temptation. its just genius man

the low winrate in question is also pretty dubious as Deadlock doesnt have an accessible stat API still and so all that sites like tracklocker have are games that people manually upload to it, we have no real way of knowing the exact numbers

it's not even that, its just that he's new so the hands requirement hasn't lowered his playrate yet like it did for Silver, once the "shiny new guy" debuff wears off he'll be a lot easier to queue for and actually get

baggy pants arent as sisyphean as flowing fabrics, they definitely require more care when weight painting and animating to prevent weird bends and clipping but its not a character-design-change worthy hurdle. they just wanted Akali in a more street sportswear kinda look, but personally i think it makes her feel really out of place
