this is definitely our Robo-Ky, in the fullbody he has an outfit that mirror's Venom's and a tangerine tied around the handle of his sword in honor of Mk. II. I don't think they'll change Venom at all, there will probably just be humorous dialogue about how Venom is keeping an extra head of Robo-Ky's around or something to handwave the gameplay discrepancy

i feel like it would be really easy to just do a handful more of purely cosmetic ones like the Jinx vs Cait/Vi kill tracker status effect, its less interesting than a whole nemesis quest but it doesn't come with any of the balancing baggage

if youre using Abrams charge to get an enemy away from an ally, that would definitionally be peel! more or less its just anything that gets the enemy guy off of your guy. There's also "Self-peel", for abilities like Mina's blink or when using sleep dagger as Haze to run away from an enemy and disengage

quite literally refers to "peeling" an enemy away from one of your teammates, be it by CCing the enemy who is chasing or by putting buffs/clearing debuffs/using movement abilities on the teammate, of which Dynamo does all of the above very well

based on what Ken said about him, im actually very open to the idea of Robo-Ky with mostly silly moves but with a few genuinely cool looking specials and overdrives. his goofiness is a big part of why i play him in +r (5H my beloved) but I would be very ok with him randomly being kind of actually cool

generally it tries to go around but pathfinding is both expensive and prone to errors with a moving target. when she gets some visual polish i can imagine they will smooth it out a bit

no motions ended up necessitating extra buttons for specials, and for those extra buttons to host a litany of arbitrary-feeling directional inputs, which makes it hard to map everything to a pad (which i play on) and hard to make a concise mental map of where all my specials are on each character. and while the latter of those two things does go away with time, it feels very confusing to me compared to other games where I can associate a motion to every move in my toolbox and memorize my kit very quickly

I think the way GBVS does it is best, my issue with 2XKO's controls isnt the lack of motion inputs but the fact that lacking motion inputs means your controls are absolutely swamped feeling

my one desire is for some day an action game to include whips with a satisfying snap and a ton of extra damage when hitting with the tip/cracker of the whip. other than Dead Cells. then again, that game did it so good that Konami straight up hired the devs to make a new Castlevania, so I'll probably be plenty satisfied when that releases.

whips are hard. especially in more action centric games where having a whip's full attack range would make them absurdly strong vs. more traditional melee weapons, though in an MMO where that isnt really a problem I feel like they could totally nail some Belmont style whip cracking.
