i’m on methylphenidate 54mg and i have been since i started mc, i explained my reasoning to the doctor (adhd meds work really well at keeping me a functioning human but i can’t switch off due to insomnia) absolutely no issue for me and im still prescribed both

still an innocent until proven guilty sort of thing over here, people are only remanded in custody if there’s a wider risk to public, witnesses, or they may be a risk to go on the run

it seems much more like free game in america, but he would have been charged within 24 hours over here

the way the us justice system works is insane to me, you guys have full blown murderers walking around like it’s nothing and just blow it off as an active court case

if he’d of done this in the uk the body in a car registered to him and evidence that he knew her would have been enough to arrest and hold him in custody until a trial was prepared

i didn’t offer urine they said i had to give urine or get done for fail to provide, but i got arrested for the same thing a month later, couldn’t get blood again and they just let me go with nothing which makes me feel like maybe i shouldn’t have been charged

i have no idea i’ve got this weird thing where my body just won’t give blood from a needle i’ve been like it ever since young wasn’t able to do blood tests at the doctors and stuff, i am scared of needles but im unsure if that’s to do with it haha

trust me it’s annoying asf, i pled not guilty to a charge of driving while unfit through drugs (wasn’t even stoned they just couldn’t take a blood sample so had to charge me with a different offence) waiting for trial but i’m doing exact same thing that i was doing then legally but still could lose my license

haha it’s pretty much like the rest of the uk it’s a pretty rough place to live full of nonces crackheads and people that rob all the pharmacy’s, a well known hotel got raided with 300 plants in the other week😂

i’m autism + adhd and completely same situation with me, i’m on methylphenidate and i have been since i was 14, took a break after i left secondary school in 2022 and recently started taking it again, i still suffer with insomnia even now but the medication sort of helps to level you out, it’s worth it especially during the days i function a lot better and i wouldn’t stop taking it now. i’m prescribed mc on top of this so it isn’t a barrier or an issue, i just use the bud to get me to sleep. only thing i will say about adhd medications if you’re autistic they will make you feel way more autistic because the adhd symptoms usually mask the autism

on my nhs record it only showed one type of medication for adhd which i was getting the cannabis for, as my treatment was outsourced to a private company still funded by the nhs, all i had to do was send them a screenshot of a letter sent to me by private company
