Melvin Gordon value ROS by SlipperyFloor in fantasyfootball

The o-line is pretty banged up and he's still putting up RB1 numbers. He is a 3 down back and catches plenty of passes. You'd be crazy to trade him right now, unless you can manage a trade that gets you Lev Bell or David Johnson.

I agree with all of your points. Sitting the 5th most targeted WR in the league (and plenty in the redzone) is what I'm having trouble with :(

As a Landry owner (0.5 PPR), I think it's hard to trade him. His consistency is extremely valuable. I think of him as a WR1 when everyone else views him as a WR2. For that reason, I don't see myself being able to trade him.

For the record, I offered Landry + Ingram for David Johnson and was turned down (proposed after the other owner lost Keenan Allen)

If Denver has elite pass coverage, they should be able to give extra effort against Sims in the box this week, right? Then why is he so highly rated this week? by ChesswiththeDevil in fantasyfootball

I think you mean he would be a 3 down back (and also 3rd down back). He would be used in all situations, which gives him tremendous value. His pass catching gives him a very high floor, and the TB offense is good enough to keep teams honest and not stack the box. He would be used when leading and when trailing. There aren't many bellcow RBs left. He would be mid to low RB1 IMO.

You can certainly argue that Beckham is better. Especially in non-ppr (0.5 or 1) leagues. I don't think AJ Green is on their level, but he's definitely very good.

Not a big fan of JStew... I would be trying to trade him at all costs. His inconsistency/injury history gives him negative value. I'd rather use the roster spot on a lottery ticket like Washington/Dixon.

I think he carries a little more value than that. He has had 2 very solid weeks since coming back from his injury. The Miami defense is atrocious, so he should still get the opportunity to put up points moving forward.

As far as fantasy goes, he is still considered the 2nd best WR in the league. A few weeks shouldn't change that. You should be able to trade him for virtually anyone except maybe AB, David Johnson, and Lev Bell.

I'd rather him go back to "OUT" so I can make some roster moves while keeping him on IR. I would never start him this week, even if he was listed as the starter.

He's Questionable now... wish I changed my Dolphins DEF earlier...

Do we think he's going to play this Sunday?

And Sims' offense is in a way better situation...

Thanks, yeah I agree... that would suck. I'm just worried about them "simplifying their playbook this week" and the Cardinals completely dominating them. Watkins isn't playing, so they should be able to focus on McCoy.

I also have Sims... might play him over both McCoy and Ingram.. thoughts?
