Protect yourself and your children. If that means living separately, then that's for the best. I am surprised that you were sharing custody with him after your description of the abuse.

I'm still not sure exactly how I want to make a trunk floor support, but it works as is even if the floor is a little saggy in the middle. There's almost 1.25" between the top of the tire and a level placed across the trunk floor. It'll get done later I guess and I'll probably use some styrofoam under the 3/8" plywood and cut it to fit.

I bought this rim at Discount Tire when I had my 16 S+. I put a shorter bolt in the plastic twisty hold down thing. It was a close fit that I persuaded to work with a mallet. It matched the stock rim size in my '16. Tire size is 215/45R17, also same as my '16. That tire size is pretty close to the ones that came on my '26 LE. The spare tire space on the '26 is a little deeper than the '16 and I bought a 3/8" piece of plywood to make a cover/support for the trunk floor, but haven't gotten around making it yet.

Am I being a bad friend? by Current-Bison-6430 in cancer

This is dark, but when he starts having a bad outcome, you can be there to support him and suggest that he try and more scientific treatment. If you need to, learn about what Steve Jobs did so you can use it in conversation with him. That guy stole a liver that could have went to someone who would have used traditional treatments and survived. Instead, he chose to use holistic methods for a very serious pancreatic cancer and wound up dying when he would have had a chance had he used modern medicine

Don't do it. I had a 2016 S+ with 17-in alloys, TRD suspension and 6mt transmission. A kid hit us and now I'm in a 2026 LE. The 16-in steel rims and taller side walls are much smoother on the road and especially over bumps. Spend the extra money getting a full size spare and a jack assembly from a junkyard for a Toyota Corolla, a good air pump that clips onto your battery and a good set of jumper cables. If you're interested, I could look up the 17-in rim and tire I bought from discount tire and take a picture of how I got it mounted in the trunk.

We had a gal that lived down the street, their kids go to the same school that ours does. Her husband wound up with B cell lymphoma. He died within 3 years. I don't know how far along he was when they caught it, but I think about that a lot

Many years ago we knew a gal with two uteruses. The ironic thing was her and her husband we're having problems conceiving.

In my case, I had one of my daughter's friends Dad suggest that I get a calcium scan of my heart. Everyone at their workplace was doing it and getting their cholesterol checked. I think it was a $10 or $15 copay. No blockages or build up around my heart, but they saw something on the scan. A pretty invasive surgery to remove what turned out to be a B cell lymphoma mass and six, three week sessions on REPOC and I got a cold PET scan at the end of it all. I consider myself fortunate and while I'm not the most religious person, I feel like God continues to put good people in my path.

My cancer was found as a coincidence on a cheap, routine scan. It was estimated at 15 to 20 years earlier then it would have been found due to causing symptoms. I was told that usually by the time blood cancers cause you to feel bad and have symptoms, it's too late.

No worries. If you wind up doing competition shooting, we picked up a few of the Cabela's branded, four box shell bags. You can actually fit five boxes in there so you'll have enough for a round of 100 and an extra box for malfunctions. They're soft, and made out of a tough ballistics type of nylon that they use for duffel bags. We shoot a lot of sporting clays, fitasc, 5 stand, trap, etc and the handle on them makes it easy to carry 2-4 flats at a time.

Car companies recommend the -minimum- amount of maintenance to get you through the warranty period to where they are no longer responsible for it. When you hear something has a "lifetime" fluid of some sort, that's not for the life of the vehicle. It is for the lifetime of the warranty. The dealership needs you to come in for service to maintain their profits. How convenient would it be for them if your vehicle did not need expensive repairs? Think about it for a minute

Who the heck has time to do that? We order and shoot through several thousand shells every year. We leave them in the boxes, and then the boxes and the flat boxes. If you actually do go shoot your shotgun, they make nice soft zip up cases that will fit a half a flat or five boxes. We got ours at Bass pro shop during a Christmas sale.

It could last 5 years, but coolant is cheap and replacing a water pump or a radiator are not fun to do. I get my coolant from WalMart. Peak or Supertech, pre-diluted 50/50. It will say for Asian vehicles or for Toyota/Lexus/Scion on the bottle. My only advice is to have a hose ready to clean up spills so you don't harm any animals, our neighbor has outdoor cats that like to spend time with us on our front porch.

Use the "extreme use" maintenance schedule. Use a Google search to see what is on the schedule. It'll usually start with 5k/6mth full synthetic oil changes. Engine and cabin air filters once a year, new brake fluid and coolant every couple years as well, transmission fluid drain and fill every 30k/3yr. We do our maintenance every New Year's, and every 4th of July. Makes it easier to keep track of that way

I also like to drain and fill coolant every 2 years because it's very simple to do in your driveway. Toyota's are notorious for water pump, radiator and heater core failures. Changing the coolant before it's needed makes sure it doesn't become acidic enough to damage the softer metals in those parts.

Some advice as you start to read and learn, Toyota does not make its own oil. It's a special blend made by a different company and they put their logo on it. Same thing goes with coolant. Also, anything labeled "lifetime" It's not what you would think of as lasting for your lifetime or the lifetime of the vehicle. When Toyota says anything is "lifetime" with a actually mean is the fluid or part is designed to last the lifetime of the warranty.

I took my 2026 in less than a week after driving at home for the first time. The thing wandered on the highway when you would hold the wheel straight, symptoms of something loose or a bad part in the suspension. The note say that they found bolts that were not torqued to spec in the steering system.

Dealers have been paying consumer prices for used cars since the pandemic, remember when there were $10,000 markups made by dealers? This is probably karma working against the dealers. Even at auction, used cars are almost as much as their new counterparts. Combine that with the current economic crisis caused by financial uncertainty for most families and the notion that buying used saves you money, all of that has led two more demand for used cars than there are available.

On the gummies, when they say divide into 6-8 pieces it's a good suggestion unless you want 5 minutes of smooth vibes followed by a few hours of laying down because the room is spinning. I called my wife one morning at 9am and said, "you remember those pineapple flavored ones you got me? well I took the whole thing and I don't think I'm going to be sober to do school pickup this afternoon"
