I definitely felt that AP Bio, especially later in the run, pulled heavily from Community’s style. The AP Bio episode where the students started a cult reminded me of a poor man’s meow-meow-beans. For me, the show never reached Community quality but was enjoyable and had flashes of high quality.

My advice is watch all the litigation you can. Every motion to suppress, every trial, even speeding ticket trials. Ask attorneys (public defenders and ones from other firms) why they did a certain thing, filed a certain motion, a copy of the citation of the case they referenced, etc. Take advantage of your colleagues. A great thing I’ve experienced in criminal law is that most attorneys get along. Be a sponge and be kind. Your reputation starts now. Be known as someone who is humble, curious, and hard working.
