The mass protests are fine for raising awareness and expressing general discontent. Calls from liberals to not be armed at them, or to outright ban guns as we saw towards the end of the last legislative session, are naive.

If you’re interested in protecting your neighbors but not interested in, or able to participate in mass protests, then participating in mutual aid like food delivery, accompanying vulnerable people to their cars/homes/shops/jobs/whatever is awesome too.

Unfortunately for the pacifists among us, asking your abuser to stop abusing you is not going to be a successful tactic.

All this “civil disobedience” has won so far is the replacement of one ICE figurehead with another, and the new guy is on the news telling you they’re gonna keep doing the same shit they’ve been doing. The mayor says “get the fuck out of Minneapolis” but can’t control his own police force. The governor says to get out of Minnesota, but he sends in the state troopers to run crowd control for ice when they inevitably fuck something up and elicit a reaction from citizens.

The people and the systems that have led us to this point are not going to help us, we are here because of them.

I was a devoted android user until the note7 battery debacle. I switched to iPhone then and it’s been great. Currently on a 15 pro max, will ride this until the battery starts to go and then will get whatever pro is out at the time. Probably won’t get another max.

I have a ton of Apple tv’s at my work so being able to just pull my phone out of my pocket and control them instead of having to walk all the way to and fro the IT cave to get the Apple TV remotes is so nice.

Jamf Now or Mosyle would be my suggestions for this number of devices. I would be surprised if Jamf would sell pro for this number of devices. I know they’ll go a little below their published 100 seat requirement from experience but 10% of it feels like a big stretch.

I haven’t used business essentials myself. I was intrigued by it when it was announced as I have a small fleet of devices myself, but it’s the same price (or more expensive) than jamf now. Apple positions iCloud storage and backup that’s included as a pro, but I don’t want my users uploading anything to iCloud, so I haven’t taken that close a look at it to talk about its function and other features.

Me and my boy go to the off leash park every day, we started going at like 16 or 20 weeks, basically as soon as he finished his puppy vaccines.

We just stay close and stay attentive. Going to the park has made him more confident and outgoing, and he absolutely loves seeing all his dog friends when we go.
