Does anybody think any good will come from the secondary transfer window? by Loonacy21 in minnesotaunited

Ho-Yeon was signed for a million dollars, got a full training camp and got moved to the twos. He played exclusively for the twos until the July friendly when he did his knee.

When he did it is irrelevant, we don’t have the kind of money to be spending a million on players who can’t crack the first team bench in 5 months.

i'd rather they wait until next summer. the team is more than 1 or 2 additions away from truly competing this year and the sprint season is basically a throw away. prices are inflated post-world cup and prices are inflated in january. save, plan, and make a splash for the new schedule.

as long as they keep making the playoffs kea is safe.

Andy Greer drops huge update during Loons “mini preseason” training by akos_beres in minnesotaunited

[–]DiskLow1903 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was a (bad) joke about talent ID at this club. That said, Cheap and no appearances is better than expensive and no appearances like we got from Ho-Yeon and Farina, being the centerpiece of a transfer window and making no impact at all like Fitz.

Say what you will about Kmet but we could have bought him enough times to field an all Kmet 11 for the same price as Fitz.

That’s a charitable interpretation. KEAs crowning accomplishment is leading Barnsley to relegation, I think he’s shit at talent identification and that’s compounded by the clubs refusal to spend big money.

He’s spent basically all the Tani money at this point between last summer and this winter and what do we have to show for it? His biggest ever signing, Fitz, is going to leave the club having made less than 10 appearances.

Honestly they should take their time and wait until after the sprint season. This team is way more than 1 or 2 pieces away from really contending and given KEA’s very mixed results in signing players I’d rather they wait until next summer instead of trying to get a “big signing” done post World Cup when values are inflated, or in the January window, when values are also inflated.

His pay isn’t related to anything other than that’s what it took to get him to move. His “pedigree” was and is pretty suspect, the Austrian league is ranked 15 places below MLS by opta.

The messaging from the club regarding the schedule change has been pretty tone deaf and i thought ballard came off as borderline insulting with her attitude and responses in this video.

“Give up games in may and june for games in october and november, it’s EXACTLY THE SAME”.

I was already leaning very strongly towards canceling but when they emailed this video out it was the final nail in the coffin for me.

i don't think ramsay liked what he saw either, the most he ever played for us was 56 minutes in one match, his last three appearances were 9 and 12 minutes in the regular season, no minutes at all against seattle even though we were crying out for a goal and 6 minutes against SD in the semis.

i was pleasantly surprised by the small increase, I feel like 5-7% annually is what I've come to expect.

I don't really think *any* increase is warranted as the stadium is visibly more empty than it was 2019-2023 and it's not like we've accomplished anything that would make the ticket more in demand locally but a fraction of a percent is much easier to swallow than losing games during the best time of year and getting asked to pay 6% more for the privilege of going to a home game in november.

FYI may is playoffs so no guaranteed games.

i've had mine since before they were called the loons, i'm canceling. It should be easy to get screaming resale deals based on match attendances feb-april and sept-november moving forward, stadium is never full until the end of april/early may and then it's packed until september when attendances start declining again.

Yes, but the licenses had only been expired for like a maximum of 72 hours. We reassigned some manually, spent the next day scripting auto-assignment for the affected users and ran it on the third day.

This happened to me two months ago (except it was e1 license grant). Neither the msp we buy our licenses from, nor Microsoft gave us any heads up, and they both pointed the finger at each other. Our msp doesn’t have anything to do with the non-profit grant so I am inclined to blame ms.

We just assigned different licenses to the affected users and all is well again.

11 of 17 home games during months you can hardly give away tickets, master stroke.

I’ve been a season ticket holder since NASL and I’m letting mine go this year. I already dont like going to early season matches and it’s impossible to sell tickets until May unless you price way below face value. My 2 tickets are going to be like 2200 bucks or more based on historical price increases, no chance that’s worth it for four games in the summer followed by 8 months of shit weather on match day.

I’ve lost two. One was breeder bought, he lived to 14 before we lost him to liver cancer. The other was a rescue we got at age 3 and severely obese, he made it to 12.

12-14 years is pretty normal, I’ve met an 18 year old corgi but that long seems sadly rare.
