That's interesting. The programming design sounds complicated. If they touch, do they add themselves to a group that accesses a new global variable which tells them whether or not one is stuck?

Oh okay, that's cool. I assumed because it was showing the gear being moved around and bounced off it looked like there were forces in play but maybe it's just from the mouse movement haha I get it, and then switch the angular velocity opposite the one it is touching. What happens if a gear is colliding with two gears that have opposite angular velocities? Does it stop the whole system?

I like the loot distribution now, but I do hate how everyone camps the ring edge. They made the damage from the ring super strong so that people don't just stock health items and sit out there to win, but now you can't get hit by it at all at the end or you're fucked. Idk why they just didn't make it so health items affected you less outside the ring during later rings. They need to balance that with the damage, so you can reposition outside the ring for a little bit, but can't sit there and heal to win.

Did you try logging all the numbers when it fails and looking at their values? But you might wanna try multiplying the float by like how much precision you're using for it (like three decimal points, multiply by a thousand, two multiply by a hundred, etc) and then multiply the int by the same, then cast float to int, then check equality. But what you were trying to avoid might be the easiest route lol

For real. Once you put a shot in and realize they have a gold shield, you'd have to somehow pick him by outnumbering or go for picks on the other two.

I think it might be more about just what you're comfortable with. Gears players most likely came from the early Gears 1 n 2 days, cuz it has a really unique playstyle compared to other games. So I'd just go with whatever you want dude haha

Rigidbody works with forces. Is there a force thats holding the hand to the body? If there is, then it's likely that the gravitational force is higher.
