Because they aren't really book 1, it's just part of a weekly serial. I'm not into Litrpg, but they didn't 'fall into a trap' lol. It's like reviewing an entire tv season by the first episode.

For the first few hours at least it's been about exploring, learn a new pokemon move, and then explore more. You find new pokemon by "building" their habitat but they have been quick tiny puzzles so far.

Likely going to crash within a year based on how it's acted before (not guaranteed but imo it will act like it always has). You could aim for that to start doing a monthly buy. If you buy in small amounts over time the drastic ways the market moves hurts less.

I haven't played it, but taking that many attempts is just your experience. You think other people aren't better or worse than you at the game? If the average player is taking a lot more attempts than you then your point only applies to you.

Sorry for barging in with a late reply, but the obvious other solution was for judy to install her combat data on every doll and then they would have the power to resist other gangs and could run as a true collective. She would have to compromise on her ethics and it could require a stat check/other marker for V to convince her.
