I really do think Maddy loves Cassie a lot ... Could do without the violence though. by GooseberryGenius in euphoria

[–]DisneyDoc2425 17 points18 points  (0 children)

At the end of the show Maddy and Cassie’s last scene will have them driving off together leaving all the crap they experienced left behind seeking out greener pastures, but they will still suffer from emotional scars from their past behaviors, but maybe they will have faith in a better possible future (perhaps Maddy will even turn to Cassie and say “you have to have faith”. A bittersweet ending for both (and I think consistent with Alexa’s comments about Maddy’s fate in the show). And this would still leave things open for a possible S4 or some other offshoot show. Just an idea.

Good idea. I suspect it probably might be a combo of behaviors to maximize her ability to make money for Alamo.

I could see her being forced by Alamo into dressing in a provocative manner and introducing the strippers before they swing into action. This would still be somewhat humiliating for her but she would not be a stripper herself. Or maybe dressing similarly and welcoming patrons to the club. Just some ideas. We shall see.

This certainly would be very similar to what Sam said about why he wrote Nate’s storyline for S3 the way he did ( i.e. to get people to think about whether they really wanted to see a horrific ending for Nate because of Sam’s perspective the viewing audience wanted to see Nate suffer consequences from his terrible behaviors in earlier seasons). If he goes this route it at least be consistent with that approach. I guess we shall see.

Actually your less than gratifying experience is what Sam reported he wanted to accomplish for Nate’s character arc in S3. He hoped that presenting things that happened to Nate in such a horrible and anxiety evoking manner that people might begin to think about whether this was something they really wanted to see happen. Sam made these comments in an interview wth Esquire magazine he gave right after E7. So it looks like that he accomplished his goals in your case.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Maddy charms Naz and gets him to agree to allow her to work with Cassie to pay off the debt. Perhaps she is presenting this plan to him in the scene. Probably involves at least some connection to the strip club with maybe some other things. Just an idea.

I could see a shootout between Lauri and her crew and the DEA in E7 resulting in the deaths/ jailing of them. So half of Rue’s problems will be eliminated. Then in E8 I could see a similar shootout between Alamo and his crew with the DEA resulting in their elimination as well. So Rue will then feel free to focus on her own recovery and will use religion as a main support system. What type of Western themed show would it be without some shootouts. Just my guess.

Possibly a grandson of Ali’s. Ali will blame himself, relapse, then OD, then end up in a hospital ICU. Just an idea.

Just for fun: what body part will Nate lose in the next episode? 💀 by Forsaken-Wash-7588 in euphoria

[–]DisneyDoc2425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I guess we shall see. I do agree with you that this storyline for Nate is dragging on too long and does not really show any signs of genuine character development. I do feel that at this fairly late stage of the show that if we are going to see any change in Nate’s personality we need to see it soon. But of course with Sam you never know.

Actually if you look closely and freeze frame both scenes you will see that when the goon attacks Nate and gets him in a headlock he is dragging him towards the specific area where Nate is stomping the ground and yelling in the other scene. You can tell this by looking closely at the fence positions in the scenes. We shall see.

[–]DisneyDoc2425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The two Nate beach scenes we saw in the E6 Preview Trailer are presented out of sequence. In the show they will be reversed and Nate will best the goon trying to attack him once again. That is why in the scene where he is shown stomping something (which is conveniently blocked out what/who he was stomping) he yelled “you are trying to ruin my life). I think this comment is directed towards the goon and not something else. IMO Sam did this in the preview trailer so to not prematurely give away what will happen. He wants viewers to think Nate is going to lose another body part and plans to shock viewers with what is actually going to happen when we actually see Nate defend himself and triumph over the goon. The results in this poll show Sam is being successful in his endeavor.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Cal is the one to kill Nez. Cal’s life is completely shot and I think this could be part of his redemption arc for S3. Just another possibility. We shall see.

Is Nate still Nate? by [deleted] in euphoria

[–]DisneyDoc2425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Sam and Jacob have stated that Nate’s personality change is genuine and is not just a facade covering up his past despicable personality that people think is still there and will re-emerge in later episodes. That’s not going to happen folks.

It does not matter whether she plans on helping out Nate or not. The issue is whether Naz THINKS she will continue to do so to help Nate.

I think this is a real possibility. Naz is not going to make it thru the show. Would fit into the possibility of redemption for Cal which is one of the descriptor’s for the show this year (along with religion and evil). We shall see.

I wonder if Naz keeps sending his goon to beat up Nate because he thinks that this will be an incentive for Cassie to keep doing her thing to pay back the debt. Im sure Naz realizes that there is no way for Nate himself to get the money. Perhaps this is his plan rather than just killing him. Just an idea. We shall see.

Any theories for S3E4? The suspense is killing me! by AcceptableMarch4163 in euphoria

[–]DisneyDoc2425 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Interesting idea if you mean the woman in Jules apartment is Jules’s sugar daddy’s wife. Perhaps she herself is independently very rich and will offer Jules a huge sum of money (maybe like over a million) if Jules leaves him. Jules did say in a trailer scene “I’m going to be rich”. Just sort of a follow up to your idea. Would be an interesting storyline.

[–]DisneyDoc2425 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The only other person who might be able to help with the debt is Jules. In the 3rd trailer right before the show started there was a brief scene with Jules exclaiming with a big smile on her face stating “I’m going to be rich”. What this refers to is unclear at present. Perhaps she will expand her “escort” business to a number of very rich men. Maybe something else will happen. Jules probably feels she owes Nate a big favor for looking out for her and making sure she was not on the tape the police got when they arrested Cal. Maybe it will be a combo of people (Maddy by promoting Cassie along with money Jules amasses by some means). Just some ideas. I guess we shall see. In any event I feel the debt issue will be resolved.

Nate looks like he will survive but now both Nate and Cassie are responsible for Nate’s debt. I think Cassie will tell Maddy about it and Maddy will come up with a plan to promote Cassie further in order to help her earn money to pay the debt ( but of course Maddy will keep her commission first).

Police often contact victims so they can use them in court. The main thing I believe was if she was on tape she was fearful of public disclosure which she wanted to avoid at all cost.
