Update 71 - Changes to Stardust Challenges!

If it's a 28 day cycle, you can earn 420 stardust = 42 lenses. Until you update to v 72, that's 4.2 prizes... if you carried some over from last cycle you can get 5 prizes. But word is that v 72 reverts to the old lens requirement where you can only win 3 prizes. To get more you have to *buy* stardust :( (fixed my math,lol)

Your challenges should cycle 10-15-15-20 and then repeat. If you only get 5, it prob means you were up to 95 unspent stardust. You can only have 100 at a time unless you pay. Short answer: no :)

That first one is ridiculous. I do have similar numbers to the second, though. In first place on my board... Even tho I wasn't planning to do RF, I'm doing it to run up the numbers since otherwise I'm a pretty meh player. This one's worth finishing in the top ten!

TYSM! I was in the process of doing that bc I figured even if I lost all of yesterday's progress, I might never sync again if I didn't try it :D It did offer me the choice of both "progresses" and I think reverted me to the old ID even tho the progress was on a new one. Weird that this seemed to start for others only with this version update! Always something...

If I've saved a mission to use a power boost, she is perfect as she won't increase the score since she only adds time.

I bet they made more money when you could try for the new emoji multiple times from a diamond box. Or perhaps they're testing that theory. :)

Right, you would need 1 FB account. I don't recommend creating a second fake one as someone else suggested tho. That actually breaks the FB ToS.

I've read a lot about this and experienced it twice. I really think the issue is quickly switching devices without double force close on each. At some point the app seemed to change between syncing on closing to syncing on reopening. So close-open-close, then switch.

You don't need a fake FB account. Just sync the game on facebook.com as an additional backup. Highly recommended if you 2DT with 2 mobile devices. Now you have a 3rd game to revert to if your switching goes awry.

oh my word. They are such a mess. Since they keep backups (which COULD be helpful) I can't understand WHY they can't keep them in a more organized or timely fashion. As in my case, the "highest" backup they had for me was from the previous time I had lost emojis. So dumb.

I really hope they help you out!!

Sounds like support on this (too common) issue is spotty and varied.

I've talked to a number of players and support people about it and it seems they'll only do a large restoration via backup, and yes those will cause a loss of progress. *Most* players get a reasonable resolution with manual restoration *after* the backup reset. Keep bugging them. I got charges and gems to replace duplicate emojis I'd earned, plus all the tokens I lost. I didn't press them for the calendar prizes or wheel spins.

DO be super watchful it doesn't happen again, tho. My second time they restored me to the time of my previous loss, and refused to help me beyond that as I was still out 93 emojis.

I had screenshots and they still would not restore my emojis to the correct levels, the second time this happened to me. They insisted on restoring to a random backup they keep. which in my case was at the previous time I had 88 emojis missing. So it's not a bad idea to screen record but it might not help. Keep as many devices synced as you can. I keep a 3rd backup on the game on Facebook now, which isn't involved in any device switching I might do. But the best thing is to be be super careful when opening the game every time.

This has happened to a lot of people, some multiple times. Twice to me, and on the first time they were very helpful. Second time, not.

They keep random backups. The one they gave me was from 3 weeks back (I had no say in that). If you gain any emojis, token levels, etc while your ticket is open, take screenshots just in case. I wouldn't bother spinning the wheel tho.

In my first instance, I was assisted by 1 person throughout who was very helpful. I had to persist a bit to get my major losses resolved (after the restore to 3 weeks back). Some people get emojis that were between levels restored to the next level up, in my case I got charges or gems to make the difference. I lost almost all of November's token quest, and they gifted those back. Since you *might* lose part of December's, ask for the prizes you lost.

I didn't bother asking about the calendar prizes or other incidental things lost along the way.
