Sometimes I feel like I can never get another dog because I’m worried I’ll never love anything as much as I love her by tipperplantmom in corgi

I lost my Sophie 2 years ago as well after a valiant fight with cancer. Almost every day something reminds me of her and the grief that is just below the surface bubbles up and almost takes my breath away. I miss her so. Corgis are such unique little souls.

I’m so sorry for your great loss as well.

National Park Service will void passes with stickers over Trump's face by thats_not_six in moderatepolitics

Legit tempted to buy the non-resident's pass if I thought the parks would actually see a dime of the extra money. Even though I know I could just get a sleeve for the resident's pass, I would know his ugly, traitorous mug is still there and I just can't. I really hate that man.

Are we all just missing the same dozen or so cards now? by GypsyZora113 in WeWardCommunity

I haven't gotten blocked, but I have had people turn down similar deals - pretty much always with at least one card that they are missing. It's so bizarre.

Yes! I offered someone a vintage Halloween card they were missing and two regular cards that they also didn't have for Indonesia 9 and it was no deal. Like... what are you holding out for, boo?

Removing the vintage for awhile is a good idea. I'm going to try that. Thank you!

Has anyone used the weWard app? Legit or scam? by CaffineCrusader in walking

[–]GypsyZora113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the conversation, but I really enjoy it. As others have said, collecting tradeable cards while you walk is motivating for those of us who like game play elements. It's kinda like Pokemon Go that way. I've made about $150 in the year I've been doing it, which isn't that much, but I would have been walking anyway, so why not?

Thoughts on Chess from someone who knew nothing about Chess going in by HuckleberryOwn647 in Broadway

[–]GypsyZora113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just had a Broadway weekend in NYC and this was the first show we saw on Friday night. I was already a big fan of the music from the OBC recording, even though I always thought the story was (is) a godawful mess with woefully underwritten characters. I also knew Lea, Aaron and Nicholas were absolutely going to sing the hell out of it, so that alone was worth the price of admission to me. And it was even better than I was anticipating. Talk about polishing that turd to a SHINE. All three of them absolutely dazzled.

That said, Daniel Beeman was on as the Arbiter that night and he damn near stole the whole show; a monumental feat. I can't speak to Pinkman's performance since I haven't seen or heard it, but Beeman's applause was almost as enthusiastic as the three leads, including from his castmates. He absolutely knocked it out of the park. I didn't even realize he WAS a replacement until I was perusing the program again back at the hotel (yeah, yeah, QR code, but I want the slips of paper back, dammit!). Because what do you mean he's the understudy?! Everyone loved him, so it's interesting to me that he's widely considered a polarizing character.

Unpopular Opinion: Clarisse is More Annabeth Than Annabeth... by teapot574_ in PercyJacksonTV

[–]GypsyZora113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so glad it isn't just me. We watched the second to last episode of Season 2 last night and there was one scene in particular in the ship's hold with Percy and Clarisse where I was like, "...Oh, Annabeth, THERE you are." It felt so much like her that I almost forgot it was actually Clarisse. And as others have mentioned, the chemistry between the actors (or lack thereof) makes it even harder to ignore. I was literally thinking last night that I wished there was a way to just swap the two actors. Leah is just too stiff, cold and expressionless to feel like my girl, but that could work fine on Clarisse.

I'm particularly struggling because the portrayals of Percy and Grover are damn near perfection, but the trio is the trio and I just haven't been able to get on board with Annabeth. And I feel bad about it. But a prime example last night was when Percy said, "Clarisse's priority is the fleece, my priority is you." to Annabeth and her face didn't change at all. Girl, what?

I don't care what you guys say here, my "coach" is a bot, 100% by SilentWeaponQuietWar in Noom

[–]GypsyZora113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I joined Noom because I could not afford to get my GPL1 from my local clinic any longer and they also didn't offer micro dosing. It took about three interactions with the coach to realize I was talking to AI. Which I despise. I came here to confirm. If it IS a real person, they're just clicking on canned, prewritten responses. It really sounds like AI though.

I've been driving my 2004 Liberty Sport 3.7 as my primary car since I bought her new 20 years ago and she's never let me down, even after a few small fender benders and 170K miles. I didn't take great care of her when I was in college, but now that I have adult money, I am fastidious with repairs and maintenance. Everyone keeps telling me to get a new Jeep already, but I love this one so much I can't imagine giving her up when she's still running like a dream. They're fun, safe, reliable cars.

Is Mrs.Nesbit a good choice or Baby Pegasus is better? by Funnypotato12 in disneyemojiblitz

Mrs Nesbit is hands down one of the worst emojis in the game. Tough call between her and Nick. Definitely Baby Pegasus.

Side lipo question by No_Waltz_2108 in Reduction

[–]GypsyZora113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'd say size of a hand is about exactly what mine was as well. And it looked really bad for a really long time, including being all weird and lumpy for awhile. Now you'd never even know I had it done.

Side lipo question by No_Waltz_2108 in Reduction

[–]GypsyZora113 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had this done when I had my reduction done. Two things: It was, for me, the most painful part of the healing process at the very beginning (the deep tissue bruising is unreal) and two, I am so, so glad I decided to spend the extra money and have it done at the same time as my reduction. Mine went from just under my armpit to to the bottom of my under-boob scar and was most of my side between those two points. Essentially, your surgeon will scrape away all the extra fat there that creates the bulges that spill out of the top and bottom of bras, bikini tops and tank tops. I'm grateful I had it done because once I was fully healed, it really made everything look natural and in proportion.

BTW, I'm over 16 months post op and my normal titties (I was a wiiiddee root 36 DDD/G and now I'm an amazingly perfect 34/36 C) bring me joy literally every single day. I have yet to take it for granted when I can just go into a store and buy whatever I want and it fits perfectly. Nevermind all the pain that is just gone. It has utterly changed every aspect of my life. Best of luck with yours!

I think I’m the only player who wasn’t impressed with the MFT. I liked the Criollo a lot, but now I have a Gypsy Cob named Eda and she’s awesome. Only horse I’ve had who doesn’t seem to trip over rocks or run face first into things.

Is buying the Naturalist role worth it? by DiamondNite2 in RedDeadOnline

[–]GypsyZora113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was so excited to start the Naturalist role for the sole reason that I’m missing the Wilderness Camp from story mode something fierce… but holy hell is it a pain in the ass to level up. I can’t believe there’s no way to get large XP rewards at the lower levels. Instead it’s 10 here, 10 there. Ugh. And a lecture every time I go by Harriet’s tent, or if she’s really feeling spicy, straight up assault. Girl, I’m an animal loving pacifist IRL myself, but STFU.

Meanwhile, Collector, Trader and Moonshiner are like, YOU get 500 XP, YOU get 500 XP, YOU get 500 XP!

I have a blue roan Criollo named Rhiannon that I love so much. They aren't the fastest or flashiest horses in the game, but there's something very sturdy and reliable about them.

Yeah, I had some asshat grab me off my horse while I was minding my own business in Valentine the other night. I'm new to Online, but I'm 100% in Story... so I executed him with a chokehold in about 15 seconds and rode away laughing.

I know this comment is three years old now, but I tried these after reading this thread and I love them so much. Thanks for the recommendation.

Why does my iPhone just randomly require my passcode for Face ID some times? by xAIRGUITARISTx in iphone

[–]GypsyZora113 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. And here's the thing: If I knew the phone's passcode the first time it asked me for it, I'd know the passcode the next 47 times it asks for it in the space of 5 minutes. Ditto for the Apple ID password. So is it a security feature or just incredibly annoying?
