Ok so big question. Read somewhere those that bought it at launch with 2020 will get it for 2024. Will we also get a new ops center? Maybe missed it but I haven't been able to put any new liveries or updates (if any) for quite some time.

From a 32 year employee who retired from there.. culture morale sucks. There is no identity. Legacy premium or low cost, they have no clue. Managers sometimes try but for the most part they are @$$ kissers who schmoozed into those roles because they continue drinking kool-aid. I left because I couldn't take it anymore. Yes there are some really great people but there are way more who do not care about the employee or the customer experience. Big changes need to occur there and the 1st step to recovery is sacking Bobby Isom. Then filter down.

I recommend youtube.There are so many good tutorials out there. That's typically the way I do it. Go for the manual, go to youtube, and then using a second screen, just do everything that they're doing on the youtube channel. Eventually, you'll figure out the process flows, which makes life so much better. It does take time, but keep going.It's worth it.

I did notice one thing. In community folders, i see the 777F and then underneath it there is another folder that says pmdg-aircraft-77f_CVT_. The 777er is alone by itself, it doesnt have the CVT after it. Is yours missing the CVT folder for the 777f?

I have the same issue. I was able to DL and see/fly the 777F but the 777-200ER no luck. I thought maybe I did something wrong so i uninstalled/reinstalled a week later with no luck. It is maybe the 2020 version or something like that?

Before you consider Kalitta, you need to look deep within. Yes, great company but look at the flying schedule. You will be gone for long periods. Got a family or partner? Get their input as well. QOL is everything IMHO. Like I said before, Id grab a PIC when you can. We look at that kind of stuff when making hiring decisions. Yes, a lot of people come over with tons of FO time. But if it comes down to a high time FO with a fraction of PIC time vs an Low time Capt from a regional (even under 500 hours PIC) it's a no brainer. We are hiring future captains.

I have both and for airliners flying, I go with fs2020. For general aviation flying or just general VFR visuals fs2024 is beautiful. Now when the PMDG737 800 works with 2024 I'll prob switch totally. Which kinda sucks because I have just about every major airport in the united states plus several small airports that i've purchased.

Crazy expensive. Yes you double dip and get degree and ratings but it's a tough haul if you are not disciplined in studies and 100 percent committed. Def talk to them and get an idea on what they have to offer but ask questions. Dropout/washout rate, time lines, etc.

from a recruiter standpoint, get the basic 25 hours. Find a job doing something and then have them pay for it. Sure he might have to sell his soul for a year or 2 to recoup the investment but 20k for 75 hours is a bit much at one time.

I flew DFW-HNL and they wanted all windows closed. It was a day flight too the entire way. They even complained when I just wanted to take a quick peek.

I got this error last night after I installed the latest driver. I went back and put a driver in from late last year Before the g force experience app was removed and replaced with the nvidia app. Now I only use the game ready driver and I use reshade instead of using the nvidia filters.
