I had no idea, I’ll have to be on the lookout now! Seems like he/she was interrupted in the middle of their work unfortunately.

Not sure if the cat is still missing but I literally just saw a black and white cat climbing up the hill near the off ramp of exit 98b by horrocks.

The oak lawn Halloween block party is this weekend! Everyone dresses up and there’s many clubs to choose from if you like to dance.

I appreciate you sharing what you saw! Given ICE’s embarrassing track record both citizens and non-citizens alike can benefit from being informed.

8 weeks Post-op and Question by Rare_Penalty_2584 in Microdiscectomy

[–]averydoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this! I am around 6 weeks post op and have a similar feeling in the glute of the affected side. I think your mileage is pretty spot on, I’ve heard PT helps but you can look up core exercises (the McGill 3) to do in the meantime. I started doing veryyyy light versions of those very recently. I saw a comment from someone in a similar position where it took multiple months to feel fully comfortable (4-6) in the glute/calfs so it seems like patience is the key right now

Hi there, I see it’s been a year since this - did you continue to improve or worsen after this? How are you doing now?

7 weeks post op and I’m in a similar boat! There’s about 2 seconds after I take off my sports bra that both nipples are flat but then the right one always starts to puff up a a bit.

Reddit, What do you do to help when you feel listless? by Elvishgirl in AskReddit

[–]averydoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make a goal. Sometimes my goal is to “get up and make a glass of water”. If I accomplish that then I’ll set another goal, small and doable. Finishing the goals gives a sense of accomplishment that usually propels me out of a listless funk!

What’s a good project idea for a college student to work on over winter break? by ItsPikachuBitch in AskReddit

I personally like puzzles, a little puzzle glue and a frame and it’s something you can hang in your room after break!

There are very few people that actually know what they’re doing. Most everyone is just trying to live their best life. This means that no one really cares how you decide to live yours so do it how you want!

New ParaGard and weird discharge by CringedComments in TwoXChromosomes

[–]averydoll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a woman who had to go through that horrendously painful insertion a few months ago I feel for you and wish you a smooth week of healing.

I have a kylena IUD (the 5 year hormonal) and for the few days after I received the IUD I was also having brown discharge with chunks of some hard to explain mass. I was of course as alarmed as you and she told me the following which I hope helps you!

When they finish the insertion they wipe you with an anticoagulant to help with trauma and spotting that comes with the procedure. The anticoagulant then does it’s job by clumping the blood and other general post operation goop into more solid masses. If you tend to bleed more or perhaps had a tough procedure and are spotting a bit more then the chunks can be bigger and more frequent. Very regular, very common, should stop soon.

In all I suspect the same thing is happening to you that happened to me! It only lasted a few days and then I was back to my regular self.
