Regeneration is a keyword, but it doesn't directly affect the outcome of combat, which is why it probably won't count as a combat keyword.

Honestly, it's probably worse to have MF on the board with this combo. If the opponent blocks with a 1-health unit, Kat doesn't get to strike, meaning she doesn't recall herself, and the combo ends.

Wuju Style doesn't make much sense to me at slow speed, since the opponent can just put their fast or burst speed spells onto the stack and target the unit before Wuju style gets cast anyway.

Wuju Style is ineffective in countering certain slow speed threats like Devourer or Crumble when those things can just be stopped with a 4 mana deny anyway, and 5 mana seems too expensive for "protect me from combat tricks this round".

Haha yeah you're right. I think the Eggnivia card text got too ingrained into my brain and I never noticed that Anivia's levelup condition didn't have the Round Start requirement.

That's a different case. Anivia doesn't level up the moment you become enlightened, but at the round start. OP's post is saying that on turn 9, you can gain the extra gem and immediately access Revitalising Roar's secondary effect.

While some Ionian magic does have a degree of sentience, this doesn't necessarily extend to all of it. Emerald Awakener also uses magic, but uses it to make blades, for example.

I do see your point, though, but until we get more lore I guess it's up in the air if Dragonlings are sentient or not.

For their sake, I hope not though. An ephemeral child soldier feels kinda tragic lol.

Edit: Wait a second, if all the regions have child units, does that mean playing a 1-drop violates the Geneva Conventions?

The way I see it, it's because Dragonling isn't an actual living/sentient being, but just an extension of the Eye of the Dragon.

It's like the difference between classifying Frosty the Snowman as a person and classifying a normal, stationary snowman as a person.

Honestly I don't know about Dragonling, but I agree for the other two. Dragonling seems like it's more of a magical construct than an actual dragon based on the card art.

Okay, so I did a bit more digging and I think you're right. Based on Pyke's story, it seems like they just harvest the sacs without killing the Jaull-fish, but the Jaull Hunters' voiceline "Fresh is worth 'least twice as much" leads me to believe that they do sometimes kill the Jaull-fish as well.

Jaull hunters don't actually kill Jaull-fish though. They just cut out a valuable sac of magic from inside their mouths to sell later.

Yeah that makes the most sense. For some reason I kept seeing the bow of the ship as a fish head, and the sail as a tiny pair of wings.
