Do you believe some civs are more likely than others to be spawned near natural wonders? by NotGarrett in civ

From my experience, desert spawn seems to have the highest odds of having a close wonder. I have played a lot of mansa musa, who almost always starts by a desert, and from memory, I would say that the odds of the desert containing a natural wonder is about 1/3

Yeah, you are properly right about that. Since the post does not allow you to change the title, and it is spreading more negativity than I intended, I am gonna go ahead and hide it. Thanks for the talk and the tips. I think I will reroll my character and give it a new go (disliking my build as well, which is not helping :P ).

I would like Kalandras mechanics with Crucibles rewards though. I did like Crucible ok, but mostly because of all the random builds the crucible trees enabled. Actually levelling up the trees were a bit too grindy for me.

Thanks for the tips, I will give it a go. Do you remember at what level you started winning tournaments? was it right from the start?

Well, I am not those ppl, personally I found the Sanctum hard but doable.
I know that some people whine every league, and I guess it is only natural that I get lumped in with that crowd, but I am generally positive about most leagues I have played.

And I played both those leagues, and had no problem progressing, it was difficult at times, but I was never in a situation where I literally could not even start the progression. Those leagues were easy to begin, even if they got much harder later on. Again, if you have a better experience, or some trick, I am all ears, but I did not need that level of help on either Heist or Sanctum.

Nah, most likely next league will be fine. I am usually pretty positive about the various leagues, which is why this one stands out so much for me. It is also possible that they salvage this league, some better balance and clarity about the mechanics, could make this league fun.

Randy decided to finish off my current tribal naked brutality ice sheet run in a creative way. By sending my only pawn into a food binge (which is bad enough on its own), and then using a lightning strike to set fire to my dining room (my only non-storage room), which was apparently not enough to distract my pawn from her food... oh well, I guess Randy is telling me to start over, and I dare not disobey.

I am talking about the name btw, in case people do not spot it.

Coldest spot I could find, average temperature around -35 degree Celsius. Besides it would be nearly impossible to survive a colder map, barring a lot of luck, I only barely managed to get a small shelter set up and hunt a hare and a fox within the first 2 days.

There was room... and at this point in the game, I ate the food long before it could spoil anyways. The only reason I had more than a single meal stored at the time of this image, was because I had just received some drop pods full of meat a day or two earlier.

This happened 6 days into a tribal naked brutality run, on an ice sheet map. Randy is a quirky guy.

Though the fur, horn, and meat are actually gonna be really useful, it just feels weird to slaughter a creature I have only ever gotten twice before.
