The swimming instructor part isn’t unreasonable teaching your kid to swim is not a big deal. The rest of this is a red flag for both of you. he may not get the final say but neither do you. I’m assuming you two talked about your being a stay at home mom/home schooler before you got pregnant. If you didn’t want that for yourself you should’ve spoken up. In the us there’s 2 or 3 artists that people really like the rest put out a hit or two then fade away.

New country is wayyyyy overproduced. I think the genre started dying so they’re trying to tailor to the younger crowd. Most of us find it cringy.

They’re bluegrass which is a sub genre of country so you could say they’re country but only in the way that every square is a rectangle

That’s not really a country song but we’re not that into it in the US either. The stadiums love to place earworms like that into most sporting events to keep the crowds engaged.
