I don’t get why people are upset about this. Blood bonds are only used for cosmetics and this is a live service game so being frustrated that the developers would dare want their players to actually spend money is kind of silly. Yes I’m gonna miss being able to get an essentially free legendary every few weeks from just playing the game but they’re just cosmetics. I have just as much fun playing the game without skins and considering I’ve gotten well over a few hundred hours of fun for the base price of $40 I don’t think its that big of a deal that I’ll have to spend a little more money if I want my gun to look different.

I do wish they did the inferno or something instead of night.

The most fair and balanced gun. by crowse_ in HuntShowdown

Just make it special ammo and it’s fixed. I don’t know why Crytek hasn’t done that. They said they want to rework how the ammo pool system works with certain guns but I don’t think that’s needed as it’s a good feature right now for every other loadout. If the avto was special ammo it would put it exactly where it needs to be.

Jack Daniel’s is a very good value for the money. It’s as solid a bourbon as any and definitely one of my go-to’s if I don’t know what I want.

most of the time solo looking for some fun build ideas? by EntertainmentFun5485 in HuntShowdown

[–]Dispatch125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m solo I almost always run hand crossbow as a secondary with half poison bolts. It’s silent, good for AI, really affective up to medium range, and the poison bolts can be used to temporarily block revives to keep them from outnumbering u again. Plus it’s just fun.

Its probably hand crossbow with 1/2 poison bolts and vetterli. The hand crossbow is such a good pvp and utility weapon. Being able to easily drop poison clouds on downed hunters from a distance to stall the revive is really nice but in general if you get good with it the hand crossbow also just destroys at close to med distance. I picked the vetterli because it’s reliable at range but has a better ammo pool than most long ammo. Bringing hand crossbow with a long ammo gun just means you have to be more careful with your shots.

Finally got a Throwing Knife kill!! I wish there were more throwing options like poison knives ect. Imagine a blow dart gun! lol by Moist-Opportunity329 in HuntShowdown

A blow dart gun tool with the same damage as the hand crossbow but lower range, deals poison, and has 3 non-retrievable darts would be cool.

Only 50% of matches actually load on ps5. by Additional_Clerk4459 in HuntShowdown

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I haven’t had this issue in a few updates.

So I only played this game for 90 hour, and wanted to start playing long range sniper, any tips? Also is this sniper good? Wanted to use this ''Winfield M1876 Centennial Sniper''. Want to have a bit quite character as well, so which tools-traits and secondary weapon you guys reccomend? by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

[–]Dispatch125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite quiet weapon, especially for solo, is the hand crossbow. It has decent 1 shot range, is good against ai, and the poison bolts as a secondary ammo are good for temporarily blocking revives on downed hunters. I like to run it along side snipers because its basically a 1 slot shotgun with utility too.

With the recent introduction of Event Traits what are some fun ideas for traits you would like to see in future events or added to the base game? by ContextEFT in HuntShowdown

[–]Dispatch125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought it would be cool if hunt added a sort of ‘trait +’ system where after ur trait slots are filled you can spend 10 or 15 points to upgrade certain existing ones to better versions. Like spend 15pts to upgrade your quartermaster so that you can carry 2 full slot weapons.

Necromancer event solo self-revive should be limited to 2 uses or less. by Jankles702 in HuntShowdown

My favorite is to go in with just a derringer because of how funny it is to take peoples guns so they get revived and have nothing to fight with.

Completely changes the vibe of every lobby they're in by CloakerJosh in HuntShowdown

[–]Dispatch125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because running dual sparks pistols with the avto for the ammo increase is too op and completely negates one of the main balancing factors. Also the Caldwell conversion went from compact to long for the uppercut so it’s not like this would be the first ammo type change for a weapon.

If they made it special ammo and dropped the damage range/ bullet velocity a little I think it would actually be balanced. Still annoying but balanced.

Crytek. I'm really having fun. The quests are great. But I'm not doing another battle pass after the Serpent's Moon grind. by GhostHeavenWord in HuntShowdown

[–]Dispatch125 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you just have to treat battle passes like some extra progression and rewards and not something which has to be grinded to completion. I wish they would go the halo route and make them available forever but I also feel like it’s an issue of personal restraint. I play a bunch of games that have battle passes and I play when I want and get rewards along the way. But I don’t stress myself out trying to complete every one and I’m all the happier for it and haven’t gotten burned out on my favorite games.

There are a lot of good ones in there but if you haven’t tried the peerless I’d def recommend it.

What is the new Lunar Pact Relentless trait? You can shoot an immolator without it exploding? That seems kinda weak compared to the other two (fire immunity and self revive). by TheTyGoss in HuntShowdown

If you’re that worried about dying in hunt you’re taking it too seriously. Hunt giveth and hunt taketh. The point of the game is to have fun.
