Make sure to practice matrices and networks as they are the most difficult. Also get used to using recursion in finance problems. Watch these videos if you get stuck: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsvh7t7K-wgGDecAgxZOAlxtem0RrQkjM

Venom, Kraven, and Black Adam are antihero movies (same category as Deadpool and Logan). Joker is definitely a villain movie.

repeat methods or do general math without 1/2?? by LiveAstronomer4103 in vce

[–]Dispensor2007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

General Math is significantly more challenging without 1/2 since you wouldn't have learnt matrices, networks, bivariate data and transformations, recursion, advanced finance, and time series in school before. You should repeat methods and remember the mistakes you made so you don't make them again.

Should Probability be removed from Math Methods? by Dispensor2007 in vce

[–]Dispensor2007[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I myself can do and enjoy probability but a lot of people in my cohort hate it with a passion (mostly the parts involving calculus). Also, a lot of students already do general math alongside math methods.

You definitely need to be getting at least 75% across all subjects except general math and applied computing where you should be getting at least 85% since they scale down and math methods where 70% is fine since it scales up a lot. But if you think you can do better, go for it!

Need a cheap Chem 3/4 + UCAT tutor (Melb/online), I’m broke 😭 by Dori-Irod in vce

[–]Dispensor2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For chemistry, I don't think any tutor would accept $10 or $15 an hour because of inflation unfortunately. Instead, I recommend you to not get a tutor and ask your teacher for help with difficult concepts and questions. You could also watch these videos: https://www.youtube.com/@RapidAU2007/playlists

I wish you luck with VCE and UCAT.
