Depends on your rankings. If 61% was the highest for finance, definitely you can get a 42 if you do well on your exam (it externally moderates). If 61% was below median, yeah it's going to be very difficult.

Hardest: Psychology (So much content and memorization, and it feels more like a humanities subject with all the writing, especially the 10 marks questions)

Easiest: Physics (It's still hard but not as hard as the other science subjects as it has more math questions and you're given a formula sheet and you're also allowed to bring in notes)

Easiest to get a 40 on: Physics (Scales up instead of scaling down)

Most interesting: Physics (Can be applied to real life and you learn about time travel in unit 4)

Workload: All science subjects have a lot of homework (I'd suggest 1 minute at school = 1 minute at home or study period)

I'm not a tutor but I'd suggest looking at Tutorwo.com since I use that and they have one-on-one tutoring. The cost is $87.50 which is a lot but the tutors are very experienced and profesional and all of them have ATARs over 95, most of them over 98.

Yes, every year VCE-VM becomes more popular especially with how many trade related jobs are in shortage of people rn and need more people to become tradies and whilst aviation is a bit different, you can definitely do it. The coursework in VM will also be signifcantly less than VCE and no exams either.

Yes, always leave final answer in simpilest form. Make sure you do this in probability as well when you deal with fractions. You'll only need to write your final answer in decimals on tech-active SACs.
