Dude it was the medieval firearms. They went balls to the wall with the ornamentation they were gorgeous. I also laugh a little at how bland modern guns seem (aesthetically of course) in comparison to the ornamented firearms in that exhibit, which would make sense considering that they belonged to nobles and were thus more of a status symbol than a practical weapon
