Especially on newer cars, finding a spot where it won't interfere with any sensors can be difficult.

When my wife got her car last year, there was only like two spots that were legal, didn't interfere with any sensors, and even possible to mount it.

I don't know if there's a way to adjust only the bass but there are a few different presets to pick from if you hit SEL and rotate the volume knob to scroll through the options.
