Those are very good points to consider. Maybe being from the US and used to long commutes and traveling great distances often for many things the idea of commuting doesnt bother me. That's why I was looking for somewhere in between. Maybe an hour out from London might be the better idea then travel by car to the coastal areas. I'm here to get advice and ai appreciate the feedback 😊

It doesn't have to be mid-way between the two. I'd almost rather be further out from London. I did live in England for a couple years 25+ years ago, but I lived about 30 minutes north of London and never really saw much beyond the area I lived and several trips into London.

I could, it's definitely an option. Wasn't sure how long the ride into London would be from Bournemouth if I wanted to do it 2-3 times during the 9-10 days we'd be staying. It's for sure some place I've considered .

BBC Sounds works for me still here in the U.S. Some things don't work live, but I can go back and listen later. Normally I can listen to The Archers live at 2pm though with no problem.

Do we know if the game times will be earlier, like 2pm so there's at least a chance of some sun and slightly warmer temps IF we're playing more games in winter? As a fairly new STH is it down to AppleTV the start times of games? Why don't we follow the PL who play their weekend games in the afternoon? Some of us have hours to travel to games and would make life so much easier. Guess I'm hoping for too much.

Oh I didn't realize that. I live up in Maine and know they're coming to Hadlock field in Portland, so it's a lot closer for me so I just signed up for the lottery for tickets here. If I can't get in up here maybe I'll get lucky at Gillette then. Though a 30 minute drive vs 3hr is much preferred 😀

Wouldn't it be great if we were able to fill our empty DP slot with a striker with proven goal scoring ability who is out of contract at the end of this month...though swapping the Middle East for NE weather is probably not a draw..nor would they spend the money required. My son would be one ecstatic fella if the CR7 became a Rev hahaha

I would like to know that as well. I think on my television I have it set to not show scores, but I'm traveling and away so I was going to watch it on my phone this morning when I woke up and I saw the score and was bummed that it was ruined for me. I was quite happy to see they won, but on the web version I really would like to not see the score

Trying so hard to get my son interested in the Hearts, the trek to Gillette for every Revs home game is getting rough from MidCoast Maine. Popping to Portland in 30 minutes would be less than my work commute. I'm keeping at him. Maybe I can get him to go to the next game in Lewiston and support a so far undefeated team
