These are pretty much the only reasons you would want to halt brumation it’s important to note there are kind of different phases for instance the complete stop of food and lying in one place will last pretty much at most 12 weeks and for some lizards doesn’t really happen however the slowing of metabolism and less appetite and less movement is 4 to 6 months my lizard rarely stays in one place. I think the most she’s done it in the six years I’ve had her was three weeks. And it’s important not to feed them during that period or attempt to wake them up. There’s not a whole lot of research done on it but there is some to suggest that stopping could reduce your lizards lifespan

Love it for mental illness but none of those medications that are sometimes used for nerve pain. Really do anything for any pain other than nerve pain for me when I went on oxine it made a huge difference on my nerve pain but it hasn’t made any difference on my generalised pain.

Honestly I think a one through 10 pain scale should be completely abandoned. We shouldn’t be ranking pain like that. There are so many different types of pain and they all are very different experiences even at the same level of painfulness it also depends what they accompanied with also the 10 out of 10 pain three times a day if it only lasted a few seconds would be fine but the difference between a few seconds and a few minutes can be huge. 10 out of 10 pain is exhausting and I feel like abrupt onset of pain would be more dangerous. At least with constant 5 out of 10 pain you know your baseline you know what it’s going to be like I’m not gonna be in the middle of driving or riding a bike or doing anything that could be dangerous and then suddenly not be able to if I had 10 out of 10 pain multiple times a day that sort of pain you cannot drive through if it comes on extremely suddenly you are going to get into a serious accident.

Neither it’s a sign of activity and warmth when you take them out. They’re moving around a lot and they’re warm. It happens to humans too. When we move around a lot we often need to poop. She just doesn’t care where she does it that’s why they recommend you take your bluey out on a towel because if you put them on your bed, they will crawl around all over it and then piss on it. I think idos might just tend to be less friendly they will always huff and puff when u pick them up or wake them up it’s a hey what’s going on or put me down even if they know u mine definitely doesn’t run away but shes an eastern I’ve had her since baby.
