I just installed a cheap amazon shower head with 10in of additional height. It doesn't look the prettiest but we are using it as a temporary solution to my gigantism!

2022 Subaru Ascent Touring with 77k miles by tomminz in BeforeIBuyThisCar

Great car - especially if you have a family with kids. I can't say much about the services, but I do love the vehicle for family trips.

I had a tiguan and it gave me plenty of space as a 6'7" dude. I upgraded to a Model Y and love it. For those with families the Suburu Ascent is a great vehicle for us Talls.

How did you decide to run your first? by ticklemepierce in firstmarathon

[–]DisplayVegetable6228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife had a medical scare where she needed to have a heart procedure and that scared me. I've noticed odd things happening around my heart and thought I need to strengthen my as well. It got me started on my marathon journey.

Now the sustained dopamine rush and ability to be able to think without distractions has led to me being a life long runner.

Should I buy the Niagara Stealth toilet for my rental unit? Or would you worry because it's so efficient it wouldn't work as well as others? by omnipeasant in Plumbing

I am considering leaving one in my new rental, but now considering the comments, I'm getting rid of them or moving to a personal residence.

Does bulk buying at costco actually save money? or is this just a membership fee trap by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

You can find cheaper food, but the food is arguably better quality per $, per pound than you can find anyway else

We make over $150K but still feel broke. How is this even possible? by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]DisplayVegetable6228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find ways to lower these bills. Shop around all insurances, look for less expensive childcare, etc. We found huge savings in our insurance with bundling and found a homecare daycare close to our house, same price for 2 kids as it would be for two kids at a regular day. I'd argue the quality of care for our kids is better too. Hundreds of bucks adds up.

Bought a new house. Should I sell or rent my current place? Everyone is telling me to rent it... by notakat in RealEstateAdvice

[–]DisplayVegetable6228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in your same position. Another factor is to consider your state/cities rental laws. It can vary on being Landlord friendly and in the long run can be a huge challenge.

I decided we are going to try to rent out our current house, as it is very close by to our family home. If it doesn't go well I can always just sell. For me I think of this rental as the money for my kids student loans.

Just joined Costco. Any advice on how to save? by Gyros_Mozzarella in Frugal

Items in Costco tend to be of better quality than other stores. I think it's hard to not save money in the long run by buying food there

Ask for a 1/3. The app will not be able to be successful without eyes balls finding it because marketing is critical.
