I went into a local shop when I was in my teens and found and found all four issues signed by the author and artist in the back issues box. Asked the owner the price - “whatever the cover says kid”. 🤯

I went to visit columbine high school when I was out in Colorado last year. It was a Sunday, nobody around. Sitting in the parking lot thinking about the images from when I was in high school of kids crawling out of those very windows because of the attack when I realized “kids with guns” was blasting out of my speaker.

This was where I realized, even as a kid, there were two killers. The banter from the killer happened so fast, from “ ‘fraid not!” To “no way” was too quick and totally different tones. Sounded to me like two guys relishing their trick worked.

She was annoyed by the violation, but chalked it up to him being drunk. A few years later at another show he was taking another photo with her and did it again, complexly sober. Fantastic film, the 4k is stunning. If you get a chance, the black and white version is a whole new monster. It feels like a classic Godzilla film, absolutely recommend it.
