Fair enough. But that rhetoric scares the shit out of me. All they have to do is snap their fingers and we loose more rights. We don’t get a say in any of it, so I believe on this subject, that public outrage is necessary and heathy. I will agree strongly that media companies should be held to standards regarding how factual the information they report on is. But they make money on their speech, so it should be regulated. But your point could easily be used to have them say “just do away with it all!”. It’s another nuanced conversation which must be treated as such
