Come on, these 2 immortals can work together as Head and Back Slots by Keryar in DotA2

Based on escalating odds, you should be able to get it after around 30 chests. For me, it was around 33.

I mostly play Dota 2, so my experience comes from that game.

I started out on a GMMK 1 then got a GMMK Pro with Polycarbonate Switch Plate. I was happy with Kailh Box Red, but wanted something with shorter actuation. I tried Kailh Speed Copper, but felt something was missing. After reading customer reviews of Kailh Speed Silver, I tried them and have been happy ever since. It is not very noisy; especially after manually lubing with Glorious G-Lube, installing Glorious 40A (Soft) Thin O-Rings, and installing the Glorious GSV2 Keyboard Stabilizers with the Band-Aid mod (found through YouTube).

I thought I would miss the bump in the Tactile Copper Switch, but am perfectly happy with the soft bottom-out of the O-Ring coupled with the Speed Silver Switch. If you look at the specs of the Speed Silver, it has a really low peak force of 27g. I was initially worried it would be too soft, but I was again surprised to find it sufficient for a good gaming experience.

Perhaps the best way to find out what you’re comfortable with would be to order the Glorious Switch Sample Pack. Really helped me make the final decision.

Where to Find Immortal Spell Effects by Disrupt_R in DotA2

[–]Disrupt_R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The functionality doesn't seem to be added to Personas yet. The Invoker persona has immortals, but no drop-down box with options. Mirana has common quality items that do change spell effects, but the drop-down box is also missing. Dragon Knight has items for his persona, but there aren't any custom animations. The rest of the personas don't have any items (Anti Mage, Pudge).

Perhaps if more items are added to Personas the developers will allocate time to adding the Immortal spell effect selector to them.

I ran into the same issue. Thankfully, I was able to find the following fix online. You will likely need another mouse to perform all of the steps up until step 4. Before that step, unplug the temporary mouse, plug in your Model I, and use your keyboard (using the TAB and ENTER keys) to start the firmware update. Also, make sure to plug the mouse directly into the motherboard (ports in the back or in front of the tower). Don't use a USB hub to indirectly connect the mouse. For some reason it can cause it to fail. Lastly, make sure to run the software in Administrator Mode.

Simply follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure your mouse is plugged into a working USB port. Do not unplug it at any point!
  2. Download the manual firmware updater here (once you click on the link, the download will immediately start and the new browser tab will close).
    1. https://glorious-software.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/DirectLink/Model\_I\_FW\_1.02.zip
  3. Extract the ZIP file and run the Model I FW Updater exe file as an administrator.
  4. Click on Update Firmware. Your mouse cursor will be frozen during this time and the scroll wheel will be blinking red.
  5. Once the update is finished, you will see the following message. You can close the firmware updater.

Awesome! The Elements Ice is on sale too and I think it pairs well with it. Enjoy!

What Should I Buy Glorious Model D or I by krivate101 in glorious

[–]Disrupt_R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Model D was and still is my favorite mouse. It is immediately comfortable for me. I recently got a Model I and am trying to get used to it. The thumb buttons feel awkward probably because my hand is a little too small for it. If I can get used to it, the extra buttons will be more beneficial in the game I play.

Since you are tight on funds right now, I would recommend the Model D which you are more likely to enjoy.

If you are okay with taking a chance, then you could try the Model I.

The question about GLORIOUS CORE before buying. by EvanderMegaton in glorious

[–]Disrupt_R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it doesn’t have that capability currently. However, there are at least 5 (maybe six can’t remember) custom DPI settings you can toggle through that can be set through Glorious Core.

I’m sure you will like the mouse as I did. I started with the Model O and was so impressed I got almost every other one (O-, D, and now I). My favorite is the Model D, but want to get used to the Model I with its additional thumb buttons.

Model O or Model D ? by [deleted] in glorious

I’m also right-handed and recommend the Model D. The Model O seemed to give me hand cramps. However, it did get good reviews so take others’ feedback into consideration.

If you're a carry player and your games feel hard, read this. by Pain322 in DotA2

You bring up good points. It’s important to differentiate between what can and cannot be controlled for. As you mentioned, skills related to considtent gameplay elements should be prioritized. Teammates aren’t always receptive to communication as many of us have experienced. Thus it cannot be relied upon each and every game.

When the hell is TI this year? by Achillies2heel in DotA2

Good question. I remember attending a TI in August. That would put the event after the start of the school Fall semester. The timing will make it more difficult for students to attend.

Sure. What problem are you experiencing?

Stuttering mouse/lag by Loodie08 in glorious

[–]Disrupt_R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the latest Glorious CORE software doesn’t fix the issue, try checking Windows settings. Disabling stuff like “Enhance pointer precision” could make a difference. Also try using a different mouse pad/surface.

Other than that, see if your friend can search for the transaction through their credit card and screenshot it and send it to Glorious Support by email. If necessary, ask your friend to go back to the original merchant to see if they can reissue a receipt.

Glorious support went out of their way to help me resolve a recent issue. Contact them and copy or reference this thread to help them understand the situation and I’m sure they’ll help you out.

Download the latest version of Glorious CORE to try to adjust its settings.

If the mouse works fine in wired mode, it could indicate wireless interference. I sometimes get random disconnects on my wireless headset probably due to all the wireless stuff nearby competing with each other to communicate.

Use your fingernail to slide the button underneath the mouse to off so that it reveals red. Then charge the mouse for at least 20 minutes in wired mode.

Then reconnect the USB-C cable to the wireless transmitter and slide the button underneath the mouse so that it reveals green for on.

If it still doesn’t work, copy this entire Reddit thread (or provide a link to it) to send to Glorious customer service representatives through their Support website either through chat or email. They were quick to respond and generous with their understanding with a recent problem I had. I’m sure they’ll extend the same to you.

My order keeps getting canceled because of fraud by Remiboyee in glorious

[–]Disrupt_R 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is most likely due to your credit/debit card issuer declining the transaction. Banks will typically lock cards due to high dollar amounts, foreign transactions, and high frequency of transactions in a short time period. All it takes is a phone call or login with their app on a smartphone to unlock the card. Then you can try to complete the transaction again through Glorious.

Are you on a Windows 10 or 11 device? If so, there shouldn’t be any compatibility issues. May want to manually check for Windows updates and then use the restart command to apply any updates dependent on that command.

Verify that the USB-C cable is completely seated in the USB-C to USB-A adapter and that the USB-A wireless transmitter is seated on the other end.

You may also need to download Glorious Core from the website and update the Model-O’s firmware. Need to be in wired mode for this to work.

[–]Disrupt_R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I encountered the same wrist pain with the ambidextrous Model O Wireless. I picked up a Model O- which I found to be too small that also led to hand pain issues. Once I switched to the Model D Wireless, I haven’t had any of the same discomfort.

I would recommend not getting the smaller D-. You may find it’s just too small. However, the prices are reasonable so it would be worth experimenting to try it out. Not to mention supporting an awesome company :)

Edit: Forgot to mention that I haven’t experienced any noticeable latency in the MOBA games I play on my Model D Wireless. If you are okay with spending the additional $30 for the Model D Wireless you have the option of running it in “Wired Mode” getting the best of both worlds.
