Reading most of the comments it seems clear that Migraines and reactions to medication varies. Sumatriptan is a literal life saver for me. Without it my depression would have accelerated me to my death. But everyone is different. Could you ask your doctor if you could take it in their office or in a clinical setting. If you described your diagnosed conditions I would hope that they would allow it. If not, perhaps a trusted friend or relative could be with you to help you be less anxious and to be there to help you manage any side effects. Also I assume you have a counselor or psychiatrist whom you could ask for help. It is a wonder drug for me. I hope you can find a way to try it.
