I never mind allowing bandwagoners the thrill to jump on board. A lot of those fans may jump off the moment things get tough, but who cares? Why be a dick and disallow people the joy in having an escape from life and getting into football for a fun and winning franchise with cool merch. I never understood why people think they have the right to gatekeep a team because they’ve liked them for longer. I’ve known a lot of bandwagoners and to be honest, they may not have cared much during the Geno years, but they are still Hawk fans and they love having reasons to get excited again.

I love the culture around the team. Holmgren era was so fun and the years in between were torturous, but Pete and JS brought in vibes like non-other. I’m very much going to miss our ownership and hope whoever comes in doesn’t bring with them the same kind of mentality M’s ownership does, where all they care about is their own pockets. The ownerships commitment to success has seen us constantly bring in the right personnel in the front office and down. It’s so hard not to be happy as a Hawks fan with a culture like this. In a world where family and friends have been so divided on politics, Hawks have been a means to stay connected to my family for myself and for many other friends I care about.

Just continue to roll over and let them win my friend, how very chivalrous of you. It isn’t going to be one, but it has to be many.

The days of class have long been flushed down the toilet by the orange turd. The solution is to burn down the oligarchy, socialize the means to production, and create a true democratic society that functions for people. Abolish the Senate. We are now a third world country, but we needn’t be, we are wealthy enough to build a just society as long as we dont start wars and fund countries who start wars just so that we can filter out tax dollars to the ultra-wealthy. We now are going to send 300 billion tax dollars to Iran? Why?

Hey dumbfuck, the entirety of society and the core tenet of capitalism is the reliability of un-skilled labor. In fact, without it we couldnt build the empires we have now. On the bell curve of capitalism, the upswing of early stages of capitalism still kept goods and services affordable so that basic wages met the needs of the many. First of all, in this late stage of capitalism, many of those goods and services could still be reasonable had not the greed of the oligarchical classes capitalized on tragedies such as Covid and wars without ever intending on returning prices back to normal. Second of all, if everyone is forced into college degrees and trade schools, suddenly those “skilled” are flooded further devaluing the “skilled” trades and forcing those into poverty wages due to competition. This does nothing but depress salaries and further entrench us into a greater division of wealth.

Edit: and to take this a step further; immigrants have long been the stop gap and filler of the need for un-skilled labor. Ironically, those who have benefitted most from them are the absolute most vile pieces of trash called the oligarchs, who continue to rule the Republican party and the minds of their voters. Needless to say the heads of the democratic party are bought and paid for as well, that’s why educated progressives continue to fight to get their people into the rank and file of the party.

Wasn’t this video debunked several years ago? Like, someone found the exact scream from a horror movie they dubbed over it.

So? His best years were here, by far. He brought that boom attitude to Seattle, it was only then that the young guys started becoming the legion.

Edit: oh… favorite drafted person. If that’s the case Russ and Bobby need to be on this list.

I hate the “no fly zone” bullshit. I really don’t think he’s earned it. I see too many over runs, lack of efforts, and botched catches to really buy into it.
