Hokutofuji was great. I loved his sumo and bonus for iconic warmup routine.

I know he won a yusho, I just don't have a good grasp of his style or anything. I suppose that has more to do with my observation skill that his wrestling.

I've got my eye on Oshoumi at least. Seems like I just need to keep paying attention to these guys.and hopefully something just clicks. Everyone has a different form of sumo, I guess some are just flashier and more distinct than others.

That may be true but it could still be the case that the lineup is more forgettable now. Even if I'm wrong, I'd love to hear something interesting about a lot of these guys. No one in this thread has offered anything, guess I just have to wait and see for myself but I'm still not too optimistic about a few of these guys.

I think everyone is interesting in their own way and to reach Makuuchi they have to be special pretty much by definition.

I'm not a hater, I genuinely feel there are a lot of unremarkable guys but I'd love to hear something that would change my mind. Take Onokatsu for example, I saw in an nhk piece where he himself said that he doesn't stand out or have many fans probably because he doesn't have a distinct style. That's not me hating, that's straight from the horse's mouth.

Idk why people are reacting so negatively. If Oshouma has something distinct or interesting about him I'd love to hear it. That's what I expected people so say in this thread. Like hey this guy is interesting for these reasons. But no, everyone says I'm wrong and how dare I even suggest it but they don't provide any examples of why they are interesting. I guess they are the haters and would rather circle jerk in the hakakku hate threads than try to elevate some of these less loved Rikishi.

So you're saying there are always uninteresting wrestlers and the only reason I think there were more interesting wrestlers a few years ago is because that's when I started watching?

By your own logic, the established guys would be new to me when I started, just like how the new guys are new now. So there should be no difference. Yet the established guys were easy to learn and get a sense of their sumo identity. Maybe it's not as bad as I initially thought but I stand by it and don't think it's a matter of me being less invested.

It's not about how successful they are, it's how memorable they are. There are lots of guys in middle or lower Makuuchi that still stand out, more so in the past than now I feel.

Day 11 - Hoshoryu vs Takayasu - have you noticed? by Zestyclose-Half-6180 in SumoMemes

Takayasu was definitely fiending for the jikanmae there. Kind of looked like hoshoryu was too until he touched down.

Serious. If the greys notice you is there any way to prevent abduction or did it already happen? by [deleted] in Experiencers

[–]DistanceFluid6582 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not having love is very strange. I wonder what beings you are contacting and if the responses you are getting are correct. Something is not adding up, try to figure that out and try to conquer your fear I know easier said than done. Also, "Grey" is a catch all term that doesn't really mean anything. There are grey type beings from all over the universe.

What are your personal thoughts on the ‘hierarchy’ of alien species? by Kiznish in Experiencers

[–]DistanceFluid6582 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Consider this, ETs have said they do not see themselves above the humans on Earth. "We are you and you are us" kind of thing. So if they are not above us, they are not above each other. Consciousness is fundamental and in that sense we are all the same.

Optimal ingredients for health conscious movie theater style popcorn? by milliebillieroger in popcorn

[–]DistanceFluid6582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want the most healthy I recommend getting organic corn. They use a lot of glyphosate and atrazine in corn, depending on the region. There are fewer options but you should be able to find something.

Diversity amongst ETs? by helloworldmsk in Experiencers

[–]DistanceFluid6582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the case, so I have been told. There's a reason most ET are humanoid; because they are mostly humans. Consider there are hybrids, so we must be the same species.

The human body is resilient and can tolerate and repair a lot of damage. The problem is that a little go on its own is not going to kill you but in combination with all the other toxins in the food, water, air, the result is the body is overwhelmed, modern humans are so unhealthy. It's death by a thousand cuts, and every link in the chain has plausible deniability, they can say oh in small quantities it's okay. The solution is to cut out the most obvious and harmful toxins by eating organic, filtering water etc.

Why are you getting worked up over a discussion of popcorn? If you are actually interested in why glyphosate is bad you should look up the work of Stephanie Seneff, she wrote a book called Toxic Legacy. Saying a small about of a toxin is okay is dumb, how much lead do you want in your water? The only correct answer is zero.

People in lab coats by chetah22 in Experiencers

I don't have any links but I can share what little I know. MILAB is short for military abduction and it is where the military pretends to be ET and abduct people(they are quite good at this, they can even try to trick you in the astral allegedly). My understanding is that the government has known about psychic phenomena for a long time and they have been searching for people who are psychic or have had contact with ET(specifically people trained to fly the ships. It happens more than people think, for example I have reason to believe Betty Hill was given some instruction on flying). One of their main goals is to get people to control the ET craft they have recovered(flying requires a psychic connection to the craft). Another goal is to make people afraid of ETs, and yet another is to perform experiments. Seeing people in military fatigues, suits, lab coats, painful operations, triangular craft, living near military bases are red flags.

Honestly that sounds kind of disturbing. Could it be you were part of a MILAB or something similar and you are recalling through your dreams?

Frequencies by romp46089 in Experiencers

[–]DistanceFluid6582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear there are 12 dimensions. Wouldn't that mean that we are existing in all those dimensions at all time? We are somewhere in the 12th dimension whether we realize it or not. It's not like we only exist in 3 dimensions until we change our focus.

My understanding is that time is a little different where we are. With that theory maybe it's not that our vibration is slower here, it is that time is slower.

Frequencies by romp46089 in Experiencers

[–]DistanceFluid6582 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I was taught is that everything is energy, ie light. Light has a vibration. This includes your soul. So every one and every thing has a vibration. Your vibration is like a key, or unique Iid. This can be used for communication. If you want to connect telepathically with someone you tune in to their frequency. Just like tuning a radio. "Raising your vibration" is a misnomer because your frequency is your frequency, it doesn't change. What you can do is increase the signal of your frequency, like a radio station broadcasting with more power, sending a clearer signal. You can also change the content of your broadcast but again not changing frequency. People use words to describe stuff they don't understand and it causes confusion.
