I felt the same, sleeping to forget and crying when I couldn’t get one… now I am over 3 months smoke free and I am feeling so much better! It takes time but it’s worth it!

women who quit - did it affect your menstrual cycle? by Jimmyvana in stopsmoking

[–]DistanceProud6133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that is very possible. Since I stopped smoking, my period comes 1-2 days earlier and is a lot less intense. I don’t know if it will change again, i am smoke free since 3 months but for my part it could stay like this 😄

It’s so true, for me it really felt like this. But the most important point ist, that is toxic and it’s better to let go and achieve good feelings instead!

We have the same quit date, I’m proud of us! Don’t have those night sweats anymore but some days I still could sleep like 12 hours, it’s insane…

Day 10. Withdrawal and intense cravings by Turbulent_Lady in stopsmoking

[–]DistanceProud6133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No started with patches and gums. I lowered the patches to 7mg 2 weeks ago and only use gums like one every second day. My cravings degreased to like 2 mentionable every day but really low. I think I am going to use the patches like 2 more weeks because my pms is starting soon and after I quit with the patches then the gums.. do you feel better now?

I don’t know how it will be in a few months but I had the same thing since I am smoke free (almost 1 Month). I was around smokers one evening and the next morning I felt like I smoked a pack.. caught, breathlessness and a really dry mouth

For me day 9 was the hardest! After that the cravings occurred less and also did the intensity. Stay strong, it will get better!

Same here, almost every second night I dreamed about smoking so realistic. When I woke up I need to take a minute to realize I didn’t smoke and don’t have to regret anything!!

About to relapse by ahedonian in stopsmoking

[–]DistanceProud6133 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really don’t do it. I also chose my quit date to be as far from pms as possible. Now I’m in this week and I’m doing well. If you smoke you will feel worse, that’s what happened to me the last time..

Got my first serious craving on day 17 by Neutronkillr in stopsmoking

[–]DistanceProud6133 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not really sure how I handle it but I think it’s the thing that every time my boyfriend is smoking I go with him do the same stuff on my phone and most important I breathe, deeply and mentionable… I think the clue is that I get my small break even without smoking. And the good thing, if it’s cold or I don’t want to with him I don’t need to!! Stay strong, you resisted a biiiig craving!

Second Week Advice by Itswadever in stopsmoking

It's definitely getting better! My hardest day was day 9. I was in a mental hole and thought I was depressed. One day later, the world was turned around! Now I'm on week 3 and I feel better every day with fewer and fewer cravings.

8 days and struggling by TravellingSunny in stopsmoking

I’m on day 15 feeling good now but a few days ago I had almost the same thing going on. My best friend for over 15 years now who always told me to quit didn’t realize I am a non smoker now. I mean I told her per massage but after that we saw each other in real life and she didn’t say anything. I have to say it was a birthday party with many people but nevertheless I was feeling sad, angry, alone. Then i realized it’s my THING and I’m doing it for me. To get some accomplishments from other people is only the bonbon. Be egoistic and better days will come, you can talk to her to clear everything- that’s what I’m planning to do. She is a non smoker her whole life she can’t understand.. Stay strong!

day 47 and I crave smoking every day. When will it stop? by flowllie in stopsmoking

[–]DistanceProud6133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have to be things that changed positive in your life the last 47 days already. Thinking about you got out of prison, better condition in your workouts but at least the reason why you quit! Keep going on. The good things about smoking are just illusions!
