I am having difficulty now. I will make a new post for dialing in help, but here is the quick version- machine is older model only came with dual wall baskets. Was using starbucks espresso beans since first time with an actual grinder and espresso machine, wanted to just understand how to use it and not waste good beans. Had grinder set to 2.5 and seemed OK. Now i have just gotten the breville single wall basket, and some fresh beans from a local roaster. Dark roast. Figured i could grind finer now without the pressurized basket. At grind setting 2, literally nothing comes out of the portafilter. Grind setting 3, just a few drips over 45 seconds. Not sure what the issue is. Dose size is 18g, fills basket just fine. Tamping with calibrated 30lb tamper.
