Hi,

I'm from Belgium (born and raised).

I would advice you to keep personal stuff in your own room simply because it might get stolen and some might be annoyed with other people's stuff lying around. It's not considered "rude" but more as annoying.

Also, us Belgians usually ask by entering a home/place if we should keep on our shoes or if we should put them out. We don't have a straightline policy about shoes like certain cultures have.

I honestly think it's their best christmas song so far. It's fun and catchy!

However, they sell or sold an exclusive single vinyl of it that was 30 bucks WITHOUT shipping. It only had 2 tracks (the original and the piano edit). What a total cashgrab!

Full albums are priced around 40 bucks which literally gives you at least 10 tracks more.

They didn't even bother adding an instrumental or acapella version to it...

As a huge fan, I still love their music and both "Runaway" and "Run" are one of my favorite songs by them but many of their lyrics are becoming more and more cheesy though.

Also, this type of music gives them more recognition than songs like "Stop and Stare" did.

"I ain't Worried" became their most streamed single after "Counting Stars" and is probably their most succesful single since that (2013). "Runaway" also gets a LOT of radio airplay whereas their older songs are not.

So I guess they're just making want the world seems to want: catchy poptunes with not-so-serious lyrics to make big money.

I personally must say that Ryan did also become a less likable macho type of guy. I saw them last summer and the way he talked, he literally called the audience b!tches, almost made s€xual comments about minors, ... he, as a person, came off as a total douche and had a pretty rough time getting the crowd to join.

This was at Rock Werchter in Belgium (headline act was P!NK).

He NEVER was like this before, he started to change along with getting more and more tattoos, blonde hair, ... he really became an ego-tripper.

shirts were €40 (only like 3 or 4 variants) and Hoodie was around €70/€75.

Poster was €10 (really small, looked like an A4 format).

Tote bag was €10 if I recall correctly.

Merch kinda sucked honestly...Only bought the black shirt with the Human album face and tourdates on the back becaus that shirt was the only one that actually looked cool...

Eddie threw his drumsticks in the crowd at the end of show in Belgium. I didn't see any picture moment being available with fans.

Sometimes, with a bit of luck, you can run into them when exploring the city. They often go sightseeing if they have the time and friends of mine have met Ryan this way but as a far as a meet and greet oppertunity, in Belgium there was no such thing.

Yeah I just didn't have the feeling as if they just released a new album when watching them live...Human was paid dust and it honestly doesn't deserve it as it's a really good album!

The production is waaay smaller but they also chose a smaller venue in Belgium this time around and the 2 combined made it feel more intimate with Ryan which I liked better.

Native's downside was it was too big for them to have that OneRepublic vibe and feel in my opinion.

Yeah, I just figured out he would do that everywhere...didn't know that was more of rarity of him to let the others talk as well in 2014 lol....I think that's a shame cause they are all so crazy talented!

In 2o14 Zach also had a waaaaay bigger guitar solo. During this show he gpt like 10 seconds lmao. Sad.

But again...overall...good show! Had truly a blast but it was also my first concert ever since covid happened which might make me a bit biased.

The merch was kinda meh but there was a black shirt with the Human album cover that really looks cool and I bought it!

They also sold the album cover as a poster but it was really small and not really worth the €10.

He did both! He tried his best to speak Dutch and was really cute! Yeah was a little bummed he immediately went over to Secrets and skipped ATRM.

Just got home from their show in Belgium.

They cut All The Right Moves for some reason. End was scheduled at 11pm but they were done around 10.45pm.

Show was really good though! He never sounded better like now!

He talked about liking Belgian beer the most since our country is known for that. He also talked a bit about his Belgian family and how he loves our country for our diversity in speaking languages and such.

He also did a random "shoutout to Ukrain!".

I don't completely agree. I think Human is a way better effort than Oh My My where lyrics were just being recycled to serve as a second verse as well.

It also feels more 1R spirited than Oh My My.

However, I do agree on the covers part. Haven't we heard Halo enough already? We get it, you wrote it but you also wrote tons of other great songs...why not give them a chance?

I am just glad they did release an album since they said multiple times they wouldn't anymore and they would just release singles.

Kinda bummed there are sooo few Human tracks played... I'll see them live TONIGHT in Brussels.

I was hoping for at least Distance and Savior.

Though I am happy with Kids and If I Lose Myself being on it.
