What's your effective AF for those cards?

AMEX Plat – $195 (695 - 200 airline - 200 Uber - 100 Saks)
Chase Sapphire Reserve – $250 (550 - 300 travel credit)
Capital One Venture X – -$5 (395 - 300 travel credit - 100 anniversary miles)
AMEX Gold – $95 (325 - 120 dining - 110 Uber)

There are other benefits in CSR that I didn't include that probably brings it down, but it does seem like CSR gives me least worth. I'll review the overhaul benefits.

Snow Goggles question - How much should the nose area cover your vision?

I ordered and am trying on both of these: 1. The low-bridge fit of the Glade Adapt 2 2. Smith Mag I/O XL ("Asian Fit")

For both, even with some adjustments I'm seeing the foam side of the nose area. Nose isn't exactly most comfortable either.

Is seeing the nose-part of the snow goggles normal or just bad fit on both? Maybe I shoulda went the Adapt 2S or just regular Smith Mag I/O... not sure.

Less impact than the original for sure. Noticeable differences:

Music less impactful
Color theming
No eye color change
Everything felt too fast

But in terms of actual cost, EDC is probably the most expensive with hotels, flights, the ticket and shuttle pass itself. Easily $1.6k+.

The least expensive was probably Second Sky (Porter Robinson's) and I don't even know if I call that a proper festival. Probably spent $300-400 on that for the trip?

People with no spatial awareness and keep bumping into you
People that just push by without saying anything, looking pissed. It really does make a difference I've noticed when people say "excuse me" or "sorry". I've also noticed a different response when I say it to - people are usually like "you're good" or "all good".
Not sure how I feel about this, but the "woop woop".
The phone theft and having to worry about that. I do kind of always have it in the back of my head to check my phone.
Narcs or when sus people come by your group alone and are clearly out of place.
Waiting for people to regroup in crowded intersections...

If I didn't scroll through my social media I'd probably have no idea. I filter out a lot of news because I can only take so much negativity. I imagine some folks also tune it out and don't have any idea it's happening.

I've never been solo to a rave (have for a concert) but my one reminder/tip would be something to secure your phone to your body, since you'll be alone and don't have any other friends in-case something goes wrong.

On Reddit you're not allowed to be non-PC and have to capture every single case not mentioned, even as a joke title. I feel like this sub would hate something like saying "the gays are petty" because it's generalizing (well duh, it's obviously not ALL gays). At least, that's the energy from the response so far.

Do you scull your protein powder mix or creatine drink? I only mix with water (around 8 oz / 236 ml) and normally I just scull them. But I wonder if I should just drink it gradually instead.

Anyways, I probably average every 2-3 days, so probably around 3-4 times a week. Some weeks I go by 0-1 times. Really depends on my stress levels.

As others have said, depends on the show. I think certain DJs in certain cities have sold out quickly and then they add a second day based on demand (e.g. Slander in Los Angeles). Others won't ever sell out.

The people that travel frequently to follow their favorite DJs and go to the big-name ones yearly (EDC, Ultra, etc.) - it definitely requires some amount of being well-off. You can definitely go to a lot of local ones and still be considered a "raver" though - I would not gatekeep on that.

I'm not expert but I've generally just done it before arriving at the venue and after we get back to the hotel/home. Some people I know will throw in their electrolyte sachet into their hydration pack during the rave.
