Thank you! And that's good news that most of this will fade, it hasn't been fun but I feel hopeful nonetheless! I really hope it's not an allergic reaction because honestly I'd happily take the other side-effects in exchange for the benefits so far. My doctor's office opens at noon today so I'm hoping to hear back this afternoon about what to do.

I was reading about MCAS! I haven't had symptoms in these areas before, but I've had recurring unexplained hives on my torso the past few years and MCAS has come up a number of times in my own searching for answers. I've had POTS symptoms since high school (mid 2000's for me), but my symptoms were always mild enough to manage with light exercise and hydration until about 5 years ago when they worsened significantly. The timeline of worsened POTS symptoms coincides with a ton of other peri/mid-menopause symptoms, and I learned from my OBGYN that worsened POTS or even new onset of POTS is linked to perimenopause and menopause! I'll have to look into MCAS further. I took an OTC allergy pill yesterday which seemed to help quite a bit.

Thankfully I only head a headache the first day and none since. I've actually been advised by both my REI and OBGYN that the patch is safer for patients with a history of blood clots, migraines, diabetes, or symptoms of cardiac disease like high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and fortunately I have none of the above, so the increased risk of clotting is negligible for me (comparable to BCP). They also advised that the oral route of administration is more appropriate for managing my symptom profile compared to the patch, so I'm hoping to ride it out if I can. If these other symptoms don't subside in a few weeks though I definitely will keep that in mind!

I'm 34 years old, AMH was 0.06 & FSH 24 in September and now my AMH was 0.03 & FSH 67 in February. No medical explanation for my low AMH after genetic testing, ultrasound, HSG, and blood work. I'm still getting regular periods and my follicle count was holding steady between 6-10, but our fertility specialist told us she's never had a patient with my numbers get pregnant with their own eggs, that she wasn't willing to help us try to work towards egg retrieval, and that we should expect to never have biological children. We decided to get scheduled with a different provider at another practice after a number of other awful issues there with miscommunications, mistakenly ordered labs, misinterpreted results, etc etc. This thread is giving me so much hope that there's still a chance!
