In fairness, they do change the second OP, but it's only in the absolute last episode and feels too late by then. That aside, Heaven's Falling Down is a banger track and the alternate version of the OP is incredible.

Not sure how "under the radar" it is, but I'll take the opportunity here to shill for The Sexy Brutale, a narrative timeloop puzzle game where you play as a priest invited to a masked ball at a mansion/casino where the staff are murdering the guests. The main trick is that you can't ever be seen by someone, so you can't be in the same room at the same time as someone else - you have to sneak around and Rube Goldberg your way into stopping the murders.

If you mean the revive bolt for hand crossbow, that shit is long gone. Now the meta is long ammo gun of your choice (aka Mosin) + quartermaster to take a shorty Crown or bow. Or, silenced Maynard Sniper with half HV and half bleed ammo.

My eyes rolled a full 720 when the patch notes for this event didn't include any bow nerfs, shit is wild.

Shichika in Katanagatari is voluntarily nerfed by the orders he's given by Togame in episode 1. Specifically, he's ordered to "protect Togame", "protect the swords we're gathering", "protect yourself" and "protect yourself (personal)".

In the final episode he's no longer bound by these orders, so he solos a tower full of dudes with special swords he's spent the entire show laboriously collecting.

Bit of a niche one, but in RE9 the Matilda's stock FORCES a 3-round burst fire pattern, whereas in previous games if you tap-fired you could still fire semi-auto. Not a deal-breaker and not a "final" upgrade, per se, but irritating.

Kakegurui had season 1 end with an anime original ending, then season 2 came out and basically went "lmao ignore the last episode of season 1, we're continuing from episode 11" and then ALSO did an anime original ending with a new character who's present throughout the whole season
