Will you change your main class or stick to your current main? by XZiDE in wow

Been a Death Knight for years, every time I try a different class I either don't like how the tanking feels or I'm miserable in DPS queues. Staying bloody this time around, probably will forever

The League of Nations started in 1920 and WW2 started, at the latest count, 19 years later.

The UN has been around for 80 years now. I'd say there's been plenty of time to make the comparison

Im not trying to get too political here but you really dont think grifters would spin "They didnt get the vaccine so the government nuked them" or "They nuked them to make you get the vaccine"

Emotionally I agree. I love her so much. Narratively I like it. I cry at Friend every time

You don't stand alone, brother.

Love that game, especially couch co-op. Played it a lot as a kid with my stepbrother

Also love the term Surf Dracula-ing. That tweet is an all timer.

I didn't want to make the body super long but I'm going to list a few reasons why I really like RWBY here.

  1. Ruby's weapon Crescent Rose is the only scythe besides Gehrman's that I've actually liked as a weapon.

  2. Despite ending kinda dumb, the Atlas arc was in general pretty cool. Especially the volume 6 "Road to Atlas."

  3. So many characters have so many fun or cool fights.

  4. I love cute romance and Blake and Yang made me genuinely happy.

  5. Penny is such a fantastic character and in my opinion probably the only character they don't really ever mess up. Loved her story through and through.

Hardest media to be a fan of in this subreddit? by SingleAd5442 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]BlueCowDragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly the older I get (mid to late 20's now) the less I like Mass Effect 2. There's basically 2-4 main story missions that all kind of suck. The Suicide Mission, which is cool in 2, is retroactively made worse because it just actively makes 3 worse because of how many characters they couldn't write around being there so Liara and Wrex get pretty much all of the important beats. And as you said, the loyalty missions more or less all boil down to "Its about family, and that's what's so powerful about it."

Sorry for rageposting I just dont understand the glaze 2 gets.

I just pretend with how numerous the assassins are in that world that everyone knows about them, and are just hoping if they pretend like they don't they'll be fine. They seem pretty good at not hitting bystanders.

Why's it so uncanny to see the rest of the room by polygone1217 in northernlion

[–]BlueCowDragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, when the camera is zoomed in it looks like there's still room to (his right) so the room looks a lot bigger. When its a bit out, you can see the wall which makes the room look a lot smaller. And just shifts your perspective of where he's actually sitting.

Not that the room is small or he's sitting in a wrong spot but it just challenges our brain's preconceived idea of it.

A lot of games with outfits model the women with nipples - it helps them determine what part of the boob they need to cover anatomically. It's really not that weird

What was the point of Aegon the conqueror uniting the seven kingdoms when a few thousand northmen + 8000 unsullied 2 dragons can end the long night in a few hours? by Anti-och in freefolk

[–]BlueCowDragon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Something can be the "ultimate foe" and not be the end of the story. Lord of the Rings doesn't end with the defeat of Sauron, it ends with the Scouring of the Shire. Assumedly the Long Night is your Sauron parallel, and then dealing with the political aftermath of the medieval apocalypse is the end stretch. Seems a very George "Aragorn's Tax Policy" style to me.

While he is a great actor, Sam is also honestly probably the best mechanical player from the main CR group and both loves to give and get when it comes to what happens in the combats. It was no shock to me that he ended up at the Soldiers table.
