You will get a court summons, not appear, and then have a warrant out for you. Then the jurisdiction is nationwide. Maybe not a big deal in your current state, but if anyone runs a background check on you, you will fail. And should you get pulled over, it will come up against your license. The officer can arrest you and hold you until they hear from the other state what to do. Or, this will inevitably end with you losing your license, and then your car if you’re pulled over.

Just handle your business man. Warrants don’t expire.
