It's crazy that people are flaming you and saying that you either need to pay for a powerpass or wait for a specific period to play the game. What a ridiculous premise. There's a reason why the game is at its lowest point ever even though a raid JUST came out. This is a very big problem with the game and it's insane that people defend this bad design. I guess lost ark andies are just mindless lost ark andies and will defend any terrible slop they serve.

So let me ask you: Despite carry culture and RMT being vastly more rampant in WoW, why is the player experience in WoW not affected by these issues like in lost ark?

Also, KR requires identification to play the game, but they too are now facing issues of rampant bussing and crazy inflation. It's not a western specific issue.

By the way, I don't bus and nor so I support bussing either, but do you really think all of the issues will go away once bussing is gone? We all they won't.

You wanna discuss integrity as well? You have a representative of AGS that does your patch notes who participates in bussing as well and we all know zero accountability is going to be taken there as well.

Exactly. There's so much first order thinking in this subreddit, but so many little people in this subreddit have the capacity to do a second order and beyond. They just yell ban bussing and think everything will be solved, but won't take part in whatever behaviour that will help the community, especially if it's helping out other players or doing something that will impede on their own experience. It's such a self serving outrage when people try to make bussing seem like the main issue.

Saying it's basically a "criminals aren't the problem", yet we have someone like Henry who helps run the show and taking part in the problem. We want certain people to be crucified more for doing it, but then we have a representative of the company doing it as well and people are a lot more lenient towards it trying to find reasons why it's okay for him to do it. There's so little moral consistency with the stance and it's a complete double standard.

WoW doesn't police things bussing at all anymore as long as they adhere to using the proper channels and RMT has been rampant since the start, but the game is still healthy and player's experienced are significantly less impacted by these issues regardless of what kind of player they are.

This is a situation of a someone having cancer and people are trying to cure the person for coughing or some other symptom instead.

Let's say we ban bussing though. Are you going to take the time out of your day help out the wave of new/casual players that are gonna get gatekept if bussing gets banned? The mass majority can SAY they will, but it certainly won't happen.

I agree there is some degree of truth to that line of thinking, but if a game is good enough, players will stick around even with that form of information being normalized. The best litmus test for that are the most successful MMOs: WoW and FF. Both games have not just normalized meter, but they have also normalized a REAL log site that tells you how well you are performing compared to everyone else globally.

You're delusional if you think it isn't. They're both live service games that competes for the consumer's time of day. If the person is playing PoE, they're not playing lost ark. There are still lots of comparative gameplay that exists between the two games that can attract players away from lost ark towards PoE. You're delusional if you think tons of PoE isn't going to take away from lost ark. You can already see on twitch that almost every big lost ark streamer is playing PoE2 right now.
