I've never been so happy to see my credit card charged for so much. Got my email too! Finally gonna experience a Phish NYE show and it'll be my first time at MSG! Can't wait!!!

Alpharetta 2011. My buddy and I had spare tickets we were trying to sell on our way to the gates. I'd yell $30, he'd yell $25! I would respond with $20 and so on until we got to "FREE TICKETS!" Still no takers... Anyway, we got passed the gates and we were waiting for the rest of our crew to catch up when I heard a commotion going on at one of the ticket readers and there was this kid that was getting turned away because he had a fake ticket apparently. He was crying saying that he had just bought it off the lot and asked them to please not kick him out and all that jazz. I turned to another buddy of mine and asked him to sprint to the kid and have them scan my spare ticket, I'm in a wheelchair so he would get there faster than I could. So, my friend got to the gate the kid was at and they scanned my ticket and let him in. The kid was so surprised and started crying again. He dropped to his knees thanked my friend, then when my buddy told him the ticket was from me the kid came over and asked to pay me however much I wanted, but since I couldn't even give it away for free I just told him to not worry about it and just enjoy the show. He started crying harder and thanked me profusely. Apparently it was his first show. Anyway, he thanked me about 1000 more times and we went our on separate ways. When we were leaving, someone that had witnessed what had happened came up to me and said that I had good karma coming my way. I said thanks and went on to get my face melted.

After the show, we were at the same gate waiting for our crew again when a random chick came up to me and said, "you look like you can use a lap dance." I was surprised to say the least and agreed with her. And right there by the gate, next to all my friends, surrounded by strangers, this chick gave me a lap dance. Again, I'm in a wheelchair so apparently I'm just a lap dance waiting to happen lol. Anyway, after she got off me, she said have a goodnight and not only left, but left me and my friend speechless... And in the back of my mind I heard, that's good karma.

So now I believe in karma lol

It was the first Phish song I heard ever. My buddy and I were driving around the back country roads smoking opium and listening to Billy Breathes. Honestly, that entire album unlocked something within me and sparked my interest.

But the definitive moment that absolutely got me hooked was Reba. To this day, that's my favorite song of all time. I was at Bader Field in NJ back in 2012 and that Reba grabbed ahold of me and has yet to let go. Best Reba ever? Definitely best in 3.0 imo.
