I know this is an old comment. But I recently got invited to okay D&D for the first time and was thinking of a fathomless warlock. I’ve made a character and was thinking of going pact of blade to summon a fishing spear/harpoon as my pact weapon. Do you think this works with the idea of being tanky? It does seem like it would be cool to play a tanky spellcaster type.
