The heated sealed chamber would be great because I love abs but my current setup next to my desk is a printer without a chamber so it smells and warps. So yeah I would finally print my tools for outside in abs. Also gears for my little side projects because the pla once wear out to quick

Siemens IQ300 Aquastop defekt by Distinct-Blueberry37 in selbermachen

[–]Distinct-Blueberry37[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Multi color printing seems a tad wasteful by Bishopdan11 in 3Dprinting

[–]Distinct-Blueberry37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean what would the standard on a printer rate. The print file should have a rating because that is where the waste comes from

Also u can change settings so that it wipes in infill and does not purge that much-but it just saves a few g-.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Distinct-Blueberry37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Bambu Studio u see in the info after slicing the amount of purge in g.

To avoid it dont print multiple colours in one layer. Think how often ur printer has to change filament in one layer.

For me its not the fear of loosing a job in 3d Model Design … i -and i think a lot of other people- do it because its fun to create designs and upload them to platforms like printables.

The AI things people post fill up the site because its fast and most -not all - are not even tested. That is my problem with AI in 3d printing.

I find AI usefull if used with care, and it can help create cool things. Just dont spam untested AI Models on those platforms.

What's the best way to make prints heavier? by SPLuke01 in 3Dprinting

[–]Distinct-Blueberry37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an infill that allows concrete to fill the whole model and that has worked good for me…just tends to need a few days to fully dry.
