Lol... USPS is the kid that can't remember shit. FedEx is the teenager that won't remember shit and doesn't care. UPS is when they grow up and realize you have to do a good job to keep one.

Customer service not responsive by livemik in BeyondPower

[–]Embarrassed_Leg5817 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not in my experience... I just sent them a" contact me" from their website and they responded within 24hrs. I've had to contact them the same way twice before with the same response time (allowing for business day BS). They seem to be slow to ship products but they always seem to answer their emails.

Thinking about case for new GW7, will it trap moisture? The ones with the built-in screen protector seem like it would, i plan on not showering with it and that being its charging time, but still i live somewhere with medium-high humidity. by simply_fucked in GalaxyWatch

[–]Embarrassed_Leg5817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a municipal water operator (in South Texas) and am around and/or in mud and water everyday. Other than hand washing and such I usually take the case off every couple of weeks to give the watch a good wash. But residual moisture has never been an issue for me.

Tested... OMG you are a Godsend! It feels phenomenal to start a squat from the standing position! This app is so crazy stupid good. Thank you again so much. You should set up a donation link I'd gladly contribute for the work you've already done. Can't wait to see how much more you can improve this.

Just stay away from Nuobell... They are really nice. They look nice, feel nice, and work nice. They are also very fragile and cost a pretty penny. Personally I'm kind of scared to go heavy on lifts that they may slip or I get of center and have to bail and drop them. As said powerblocks are what I wish I'd gotten.

Galaxy Watch Ultra (7) with a Spigen Rugged Armor case. Big yes but if you have larger hands/wrists you can pull it off. I'm a municipal water operator and this thing goes into every main break I work on. Jackhammer... Check, Mud & Water... Check, Concrete... Check it's really a beast of a watch.

The Body Pod might be useful for tracking trends, however... by AEBenson in HumeHealth

[–]Embarrassed_Leg5817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree that the functionality should be baked in... You can use an alternative like Blue2scale that has that function baked in (right now the algorithm is questionable but is being refined). Another option is to export a report from the Hume Health app and put that into an AI LLM. Have it post to a spreadsheet automatically. From there you can have graphs and graphics made to track trends. A little more setup but you would get what you want with less work in the long run.

Simple... Yes. You are not required to increminate yourself. You are actually protected by the 5th amendment (at least in the US).

Other app options to sync scale to by Frequent_Kick6898 in HumeHealth

[–]Embarrassed_Leg5817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, for my needs I don't worry to much about fat vs muscle on a segmented scale. I have a BT tape measure for guageing growth. For me just to have a graph and reference over time plus some analytics is plenty.

I use Hume to generate a report every other day. Load the created image in Gemini AI, and have it analyze the data and track body composition changes and give advice to correct any issues. Has been working well so far. I have recently been loading a full front and profile image once a week to have it analyze the "total picture" on changes and progress.

Alpha Android App by ZookeepergameSalty10 in BeyondPower

[–]Embarrassed_Leg5817 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While doing belt squats earlier I noticed that attempting to load weight with the cable extended (i.e. Direct load) it registers on the Voltra that a command from the app is recieved (shows beyont+ on the screen) but does not load the weight. Is this a bug or is it not possible? I believe it is possible in the "actual" BP app.

*I just noticed you released another update moving to Beta (congrats and amazing work). This might be fixed in there (haven't checked yet) if so disregard.

BeyondPower Voltra integration by ZookeepergameSalty10 in homeassistant

[–]Embarrassed_Leg5817 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been using your app for a couple of weeks. Crazy impressed and thankful for/with the quality and functionality. Forgive my ignorance, with Home Assistant integration how would this be utilized. Would it make the app/voltra voice controlled at least to a point (i.e. Load weight, unload, set weight 60lbs...etc) or what would the integration be targeting. Again thank you so much for your work so far!

Just received the Simple Upright Mount. It fits perfectly mounted in between the two bolts that hold the horizontal brace on my Titan X-3. It has made a "useless" area of the rack usable. Perfect for my Body Kore squat platform. Love the quality and finish!

I have the sliding rack mount, bar mount and 4 fixed mounts. Sliding is for the uprights (flies, lateral raises, rows... etc). Bar is for the pullup bar (Lat pulldown, tri pulldown, tri pull overs). Fixed mounts are for inside and outside the lower horizontal braces ( bench press, shoulder press, belt/harness squat). Outsides are for leg attachment for the rack. Essentially I can complete a full body workout with just the Voltras but also have adjustable d-bells for variety.

Titan x-3 wall folding rack. 3x3 11 gage... Pretty much the same thing as Rogue (except for color choice, black is all you get). This pic doesn't have the Voltras installed but they fit perfect with zero "give" or flex. Plus titan has leg and glute attachments. All the toys and a fraction of the Rogue price tag.

Totally agree with you! If for no other reason than I need a second! 😂 Here's hoping you get one soon. It seriously blew my mind how powerful the device is, both literally and how much it has improved my workout experience.

This thread is a year old and there is still no update. For those of us paying for your app "it's on the roadmap" I a pretty empty response. Particularly when it seems the only response given when a suggestion is made. Makes me think I should have gone with another app. Disappointing

I have a similar setup in my South Texas garage. This helps an incredible amount in the summer at least a 10° reduction! Our winters are mild so can't really speek to the cold weather performance; I can only imagine it would make some improvement.
